Unexpected But True

Chapter 1

*Lilly POV*

I walk to my first class of the day. It's February and There's a dance tomorrow. I'm heading to Social Studies with my friend Ema, when I see a guy that... catches my interest? That's weird. I've seen this guy before, and thought nothing of it. He seems to be laughing and talking really animated with someone next to him. I feel a pang of jealousy as I see him talking to a girl I've seen around. I look down as my face starts to turn red, and Ema pulls me away to go to class.

Throughout class I can't focus. That boy keeps slipping into my mind. Finally the bell rings and I can try to see him again.

I walk through the halls to my next class, I hear my friend Sydney call my name. I look around to see: She's with that girl I saw with the boy this morning! Sydney walks over and calls another name.
"Cole!" She shouts. I turn around and freeze.

It's the boy I saw.
