I walk, then run, I scream and break out the doors...... It's mid December an Alaskan winter but I have no coat it's windy it's hailing I'm freezing. I run as fast, as I can as far as I can, for as long as I can. Until my legs give out my mind weak and my heart is pounding out my chest and 'I fall' I'm physically and emotionally paralyzed I look up and see bright lights on a big red truck and then I see nothing...

Doctor pov
I'm walking around checking vitals talking to patient then I hear on the intercom "Dr. Bringston report to the emergency room" and  I run as fast as I can as hard as I can. The ambulance workers come  walking in with a patient on a gurney and there shouting all   this information at me

Am: we have a teenage girl appears to be about 16 who was hit by a red 2017 ford f-150
D: Heart rate?
Am:70bpm
D:get her on oxygen we need to slow her heart rate down hand me that IV of saline

'I step close to her and  the most intoxicating smell hit my nose and I can't move.'

"Doctor,doctor" the nurse shouts
  
"Mine" is all I can muster

"Excuse me" the nurse exclaims

I look down at the girl who just captured my heart then shove and 18 inch gauge in he forearm.Then pain rushes through mine. I have to save her.

D: Injuries?
Am:broken ribs 2 on the right 3 on the left and she is hypothermic

I took he shirt off to examine her and notices it looks...

D:oh shit her chest cavity is collapsing.
D: we need to start operating nures get a room ready and the rest of the injuries the rest of us will prepare the patient

Then Carrie my boss walks up grabs my shoulder and says "you can't operate on her"...

"What the fuck  do you mean I can't operate on her Carrie"

"better watch it oh what do u think I didn't see what you did back there" Carrie exclaimed

"What??" I asked obviously fucking angry

"Your eyes glowed so fucking bright that I'm surprise everybody didn't see you're lucky the nurses we're all focused on the girl"she shouted

"Well they probably heard you fucking shout about  it"

then she slapped me across the head and said" who do you think your talking to remember who I am remember who's the Boss".

I bowed my head in sumission
" I don't need you getting distracted while you're operating on her" she said

"I understand your concern but I ask you to reconsider"

I begged her "Carrie please I need to be there while she's having surgery".

"Ok she said I will allow you to assist Dr.Morrow"

"thank you so much

I ran to the operating room and cleaned up preparing myself for surgery with dr. Morrow

Dr. Morrow pov

I cut the patience chest cavity open and it began to heal rapidly
"Wyatt" I said

"Yeah I saw it" he went

"The nureses "

Don't worry about them what about the girl" he exclaimed the tension in the room was so thick you could see it

"She will heal we must focus our attention to the nurses" I said just as one of them ran out the room screaming

"follow her I'll handle the other two" Wyatt ran out the room

I compelled the two nurses into believing that the surgery was very successful

"Great job doc" nurse 1 said and gave me a high five

"Thanks" I said

"Alright lets move the patient" nurse 2 said

Wyatt's POV

Damn that nurse is fast to fast something is off if she was a human I would have caught her by now we ran right out the from door and into the woods surrounding us it's fucking freezing i can smell Carrie she must have followed us out she she looks back and he irises glowing a bright yellow

"Oh shit" Carrie said
"How did we not know this" I asked all of a sudden out of the woods came....
