The couch perched its high back against the tan walls of a last-minute-booked hotel room, it was the most uncomfortable thing that I had the misfortune to lay on. However my attention wasn't stirred by the unnecessarily embroidered fabric scratching against my bare feet and arms. Instead I focused my minimal morning devotion towards the person whose legs were tangled between mine and whose fingertips delicately caressed my freckle lined cheek in the early morning sunshine. As I inched closer to the heat, which he emitted, I was intoxicated by his scent. The masculine fragrance filled my lungs with lust and want. Transferring my weight onto his firmly formed torso my auburn locks draped over my freckles, framing the dim sun-rays around our entranced figures. Earlier he had told me that I looked most beautiful in the mornings; and I believed him.
Excitedly hovering above a drunken smirk, the grimace which over took him from realizing my placement aroused my senses. Suddenly I was aware of all of my surroundings....including him. Whilst a gentle breezed escaped the summer's beginning through the unclosed glass door into this love infested room I shaped my hand around the handsome face.
As I leaned in for a kiss our romance was interrupted by a loud knock. It seemed as loud as the New Year's Eve firecrackers of last night; it was disorientating. Shaking my head to somehow gain clarity, the loud bangs continued; it was infuriating. However despite my confusion and disappointment Ethan looked as if he knew exactly what was happening. What was happening?
He transferred his weight onto his elbows and glared at the door; anger and fear danced with each other in his golden eyes. A certain look of terrified realisation escaped him. He bolted up standing in his button-down shirt, the door shot open. Small pieces of shattered wood bounced off the expensive décor in the room, the handle and hinges absconded from the wooden frame and fell onto the ground. Two tall dark men stood parallel to the broken door. They stormed into the small room, making the room seem even smaller.
I rapidly grab at my shirt on the ground before the muscular men were rewarded with eye candy that would only ever belong to Ethan. Successful I returned to their eyelevel realising that the shirt was completely see through and didn't help at all. Aghh! Preparing to crouch down again and scurry for my proper clothes I catch a glimpse of prince charming punching the left-standing man straight in his square jaw. The man slammed into his buddy at the shock of the force, landing them both into the slinters scattered on the beige carpet. Not wasting time Ethan grabs my hand and my dress, thank god! He practically sprints toward the window; I looked up to his focused eyes squatting on the window sill.
"What the hell Ethan?! This...What is this!" I demand from him- an explanation.
"Just follow me...jump!" Not exactly what I was hoping for but I trust him so I reluctantly agreed and jumped.
We fell at least three floors worth of impact onto the rubber bouncing castle. Last night sure was helpful in some ways I guess. The bouncing castle reeked of alcohol and bad decisions. My headache had quadrupled in the last ten minutes. I was lost in a sea of obnoxiously coloured rubber when a warm sculpted hand grabbed me out of the confusion. Ethan. As we rushed in the direction of the busy streets of London he hollered a taxi. A flash of yellow gleamed into my eyes as I felt his strong hands pushing me into the leather seats. Still very confused my vision was fulfilled by his glossy brown hair and golden eyes. With a loud bang the door closed and the taxi zoomed off into the London rain leaving my love behind. My hangover consumed my compression, unable to think I just sat back and waited for something to happen... anything
