Chapter~1

Maya's pov

I was laying in my bed fast asleep and then all of a sudden I heard my mom yell for me to come downstairs

I groan and get up and walk out of my room down the hallway. I stop at the bathroom really quick because I had to pee. Then I finally reached the stairs I started to walk down and I was surprised to see a 2 suitcases my mom was holding.

Are we moving or something I'm so confused right now. But if we are moving I can't leave this place all my friends are here. I love this place

"Mom what are all these bags and suitcases for are we moving or something?"I asked curiously

"Well you see sweetheart that's...um.. what I wanted to talk to you about" my mom said with a upset look on her face

"What is is mom?" I ask getting worried

"Well I got a new job that pays a lot more then my job as a waitress and so I got so overjoyed that I had to check it out...and I did...and then I found out that the job is all the way in California" my mom said looking at the ground

"Mom...please don't tell me we're moving" I said even more worried then I was before

"Were not moving...I am" my mom said while she stared to tear up

"What do you mean you are?" I asked

"Maya I don't have enough money to take you with me and I need this job so I'm just gonna go by myself" my mom said crying even more

"What do you mean... I have to stay here all by myself and care for myself until you get enough money for me to go!?" I yell as I started to cry

"No Maya your not gonna be alone I'm letting you stay with my friend Nicole she'll treat you just like family" my mom said as she embraced me in a hug

"Who is Nicole?" I ask my mom

"Nicole is my friend that agreed to let you stay there with her and her son for the summer until I get enough money for you to come to California with me" my mom said

"When do you leave?" I ask my mom

"I leave in like 1 hour 30 minutes so hurry up and pack your clothes so we can get you to Nicole's house and I can get to my flight" my mom said as I walk upstairs to get my clothes

I finally get to my room and I grab a suitcase out of my closet and start stuffing it with shirts pants shorts bras panties and like all the clothing I have. Then in a separate bag I pack my makeup. Then in the last bag I pack my shoes.

When I finish packing my bags I run downstairs then outside to the car and hurry up and put my stuff in as my mom drives away.

As we're driving I can't help but think who is Nicole's son. I loose my train of thought and see we're at the house.

As me and my mom are walking to the door I see a huge water fountain and little statues out side the house. This house is literally the most beautiful thing I ever seen.

Then we get up to the door and I knock and then the door opens. And the person at the door almost gave me a heart attack. I looked up to see the most stupidest meanest douchest person in existence...

Lucas friar

Omg god please tell me this is the wrong fucking house. I literally hate HATE Lucas he's the biggest player and jerk in my school. And now I have to fucking live with him... FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER.

This is a nightmare. I snap out of my thoughts as I see my mom drive away. And now I'm standing here with Lucas. Great🙄

"Hey hot ass what you doing here with all your shit?" Lucas says with a smirk. Of course he had to have a smirk

"Well according to our moms I have to live here" I say rolling my eyes at him

"Oh well you gonna come in?" He says. I nod and I walk in and as I'm walking in I feel a slap. Wait... did this mother fucker just slap my butt. Hell nah

"Asshole" I say as i turn around to look at him

"You know I had to do it, it was right in front of me I had to smack it" he said and winked

Ugh I hate him so freaking much I can't believe I have to live with him all freaking summer

"Your so nasty" I say rolling my eyes again

"Whatever" he said as his mom walked in

"Hello you must be Maya hart, I'm Nicole nice to met you" she sad while sticking her hand out I shook it and introduced myself

"Hi my mom told me that you were a good friend of hers" I said trying to sound as nice as possible because right now I'm so fucking  annoyed and angry that I have to live  with a piece of shit

"Yes I am were gonna treat you just like family, right lucas" she said

"Right" Lucas said as he smirked at me again.

"So lukey why don't you show Maya around so that she feels more at home" his mom says

Great just great now I have to go somewhere with this asshole

This summer if gonna go amazing. FUCKING NOT!
