Noa / Begining of the World

I'm starting with god. Yes, this character is the creator of this world I've come up with. Before I get too far into this I'm going to clear some stuff up so you don't get confused, theoretical reader. Noa has many personas and aspects of his consciousness. Noa is his male, human form completely stripped of all knowledge and control of his godly powers. He is about 5ft 5in tall, Caucasian, 19 years old, and has brown hair and silver eyes. He is smart, quiet, and typically blends into crowds very well. (Which helps a lot in his situation but more on that later) He is also, ironically, atheist. His two eternal companions are his sword and shield, Adam and Eve, who he can summon to his side at any moment. ( More on them later.) The only reason that his Noa persona exists is because he was stripped of his Three Aspects: Manibus, The Hand of God. (Latin for Hand)
Oculus, The Eye of God. (Latin for Eye) And,
Anima, The Soul of God. (Latin for Soul)

These things are what give The Creator power. Anima makes things from nothing, Manibus allows them to shape the raw matter and energy into anything, and Oculus gives them sight and knowledge of everything. If Noa were to be reunited with these Three Aspects, he would become Aurum ( Latin for Gold ). Aurum is The Creators physical form and only exists when they want to.

Quick note on The Creators gender. In my world, The Creator has no need for primitive and crude social constructs like gender. The same goes for Aurum. Although, Noa is male. Think of Noa as like a vessel for a very powerful and sleeping creature of incomprehensible magnitude. :) (I know, it's a bit of a headache, but this entire world revolves around him so bear with me.)

Now to how Noa came to be. A LONG time ago before the City came to be. (Again, more on that later.) The Creator lost their Aspects. I don't know how yet, but if I come up with it it will be its own chapter. Manibus was found by Men and used by kings and tyrants for ages. Oculus ended up underground and worshipped by a subterranean race of tentacle monsters (Again... more on that later.) And Anima was found by the Zodiac Gods of the Sky. The self appointed rulers of this world. They saw the humans as weak and easily enslaved, so they made a huge machine to give them light. This machine was powered by Anima and was called The Sun. The humans, or Nephalim (You probably know what this means..), were absolutely infatuated by this huge ball of light and instantly pledged allegiance to, then promptly forgot about the Zodiac Gods. The Zodiac simply abandoned the humans and Anima. Then the Nightmares came from The Tower (probably going to rename that) and if you can imagine huge missiles of pure black streaming towards then colliding with the sun and then watching it fall while slowly fading in brightness before the entire world went into darkness for weeks while unspeakable horrors attacked and killed your friends and family you probably still have no idea how horrifying it was. The Zodiac Gods saw this and didn't care. In fact, they forbid any of the stars from going down and helping. Now one of those stars actually liked the humans and said "Screw you." To the system so he went down, killed a bunch of tentacle people, permanently blinding the race in the process, came back up with Oculus, wrangled up the remaining humans, and sat on top of the Tower to keep more nightmares from coming out. This guy is The New Sun. He is sitting on the top of the tower that will eventually end the world and he convinced the humans to build a huge city around it and live there. He sits up there, shines for 12 hours a day, goes dark, then shines again. He's doing this to keep Nightmares from the outside of the City from coming in. (*cough* Not exactly where their coming from in the first place but ok *cough*) And everything is happy! No. He's dying. That 12 hours a day is shortening slowly but surely and unfortunately there are some people who are pretty high up in the Citys government who are apocalypse worshippers and are making this process faster. Yay! So, cue Noa. He was made by the Aspects to hopefully reunite them. If he dies the world dies. But fortunately only one thing can kill him and that is The Morrigan who is the literal embodiment of the End. Unfortunately she is in the Tower. Fortunately she can't leave. Unfortunately these apocalypse worshippers know who he is and how to kill him and how to summon things who are very good at kidnapping 5ft 5in 19 year olds who barely even know who they are and are more than capable of bringing him to The Morrigan.

Yay!

Don't worry though, he has friends to suffer alongside him. :)
