Erza was walking on the beach when she saw it. It was siting on one of the rocks on the beach. It was a beautiful mermaid. She had long brown hair that was in a braid going down her back, she also had a purple shell braw. Her tail was purple but it had swirls of green, blue and black. The mermaid was very beautiful. Then she turned and faced Erza and as soon as she saw her she dived into the water in panic. Erza caught a quick glimpse of her eyes which were a light brown with a swirl of dark brown in each eye.
It took Erza a few seconds to realize what she had seen. Once it fully registered in her brain what she saw even though she was calm on the outside she was freaking out on the inside. She couldn't wait to tell people what she had seen a real mermaid. She was so excited even though she looked like she had seen nothing.
She walked to the guild and she quietly entered. She was still awestruck so she was quiter then usual. Lucy was the only one that noticed. '' What got you so quiet.'' she asked. Erza didn't know how to responded so she took her outside and told her what she had seen. Lucy was shocked she didn't know if she believed it but she trusts Erza so she believed it.
Soon there were several more accounts of seeing a mermaid around Magnolia and the news soon reached Fairy Tail. Thats when things got crazy...
