Winter's magic

      Chapter 1- Eric's arrival

        Winter stares at her reflection, her brown hair and eyes were so normal, how could any guy at her school like her. She is never noticed by anyone she kinda blends into everything, she wishes she could be as half as beautiful as most of the girls at her school. "Winter it's time for you to leave for the bus". her uncle yelled from the bottom of her stairs, she was the only child and when she was two when her  mom and dad died in a car crash, so she lives with her uncle Austin, Trevor (her cousin) and her aunt Mary. "you to Trev let's go come on" Mary says.

     Winter takes one last look at her reflection, walking out of her room almost running into Trevor "what's the big  rush Trevor?" she asks, when Trevor looks at her he was wearing sun glasses "Trevor it's cloudy why do you need sun glasses?" she asks Trevor pulls his glasses off to reveal his black eye, Trevor was a year older than winter but, he got held back in 3rd grade and when they were kids they were best friends and now they couldn't keep secrets for each other so they never tried "you can't tell my mom or my dad if I tell you how this happened" Trevor was the closest thing winter had to a best friend so, she kept all of his secrets "Ya I promise Trev what's up" Trevor looked at winter with a scared expression on his face "what's wrong Trev" winter already had an idea but wanted to know for sure "I got beat up by troy again...... you can't tell ok, come on we gotta go" he says putting his glasses back on, only if winter could confront troy but, he would squash her like a bug.

         Winter and Trevor walked on the bus they were one of the first's to get on but, they would never sit anywhere but around the middle, the back was only ment for the popular's the front was ment for the smart's and the middle was ment for those who didn't belong in either.  Across from winter and Trevor was Trevor's  friend Lisa that had her nose in a book like she always did, and winter and Trevor sat in silence.

    Winter was not excited for math class especially after she heard some girls talking about a new kid in the class that came from Ecuador,  Winter loved Ecuador but hated the idea of new kids. when she got into class she discovered that the new kid even sat by her oh great she thought to herself. She sat next to and smiled as nicely as she could "Hi, my name is winter" she said as she took in the boys face, he had black hair and dark blue eyes and his hair fell into his eyes in some places."nice to meet you my name is Eric" he says shyly, Winter gave up on having a conversation and went back to working on the assignment that was assigned for tonight since Mr. Mazurek wasn't in the classroom to give instructions.

   Mr. Mazurek came in 15 minutes late as usual, "good morning class I would like to make an announcement" he says walking up to the front of the class "we have a new student named Eric Williams, Eric please stand up so the class knows who you are" Eric looked surprised, but stood up and most of the popular's  died they wanted him to be one of them so badly, you don't have to be a smart to know that. "Ok, ok now let's get to work class, where did we leave off...." Winter kept trying to catch a glimpse of Eric but, every time she would look so would he, or was he looking to. Winter exploded on the inside what if he was looking at her what if he thought she was beautiful, as soon as she thought it she wanted to smack herself, nobody thinks she's beautiful why would he.

    After class winter packed up slowly in hope that Eric would leave before she did,  "Winter can I ask you a question" Eric says standing right in front of her "um.....Ya sure" she said "can you show me where history is?" history was winters next class but she really wanted to skip she read the whole book anyway and history was her best subject bit guess that was out of the subject now. "Ya it's my next class to come on let's go" she said leading him out of math class catching a lot of the popular's eyes this won't be good winter thinks to herself.

         After school winter walked home she thought about getting a milkshake from Tommy's burgers but decided not to, she just walked the way to her uncles house in the middle of know where, she thought she heard a car comming down the road but just noted that she was going crazy and kept walking, nobody drove down this road unless her uncle and aunt count. but the noise got louder she turned around and saw an old light blue Chevy, she moved to the side of the road hoping that the driver wasn't a kidnapper or rapist or both as the truck got closer she notices that the blue paint was chipped everywhere and that the driver was Eric, oh great he's a stalker she thought

"need a ride?" he asks I wonder if he only stalks me because I sit by him cause if so ill move "um no it's ok I like to walk" winter says, Eric looks at the sky that was clear and beautiful "are you sure it looks like it's going to rain" he says and as if on command it starts to sprinkle "how did you..... know" winter says looking surprised "do you want a ride or not winter?" Eric says as it starts to rain harder "it's ok you don't need to drive out of your way ill be fine I think I have an umbrella in my backpack " she says knowing she doesn't, "it's ok I live down the road" he said down this road all of the houses haven't been lived in since we'll, let's just say a long time even know there was only a few it was still rare for someone to live in them. "well if your driving there any way" winter says giving up she got into the truck and even though the outside looked old and worn down the inside looked brand new, Eric turned on the radio ans the song say something was playing, winter almost laughed because of how fast his hand went to the knob to change the station.

      When she got home winter went home Finished her homework, took a shower made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for everyone she took her food up stairs with her to eat she closed her door and plugged her iPod touch in to her I home and played some music and put the song say something  on and sang along and fell asleep thinking about Eric.
