Pepe's heart clenched in his chest. These days he felt so lonely, so depressed. The green frog wiped a tear away and plastered on a smile. Suddenly, he was roughly pushed by a light green figure, and Pepe fell on his back. He heard a gasp and he was being pulled up by rough hands.
"Are you okay?" Pepe found himself mesmerized by the voice. It sounded magestical and he felt like he was being surrounded by magic.
"I'm fine." Pepe replied nervously, dusting himself off. He finally looked up at the stranger and gasped.
Strong and powerful dark eyes. A shining bald and green head. His gaze traveled to this outfit and he almost fainted. The monster was wearing a nice vest with a shirt under. To sum it up he was... beautiful. Pepe felt shrektastic.
"My name's Shrek." Pepe found himself tearing up at the simple, yet meaningful name. He felt something he head never felt before.
Love.
"I'm-" He was interrupted by the ogre crashing into him and holding him tight.
"Shhhh. I know who you are Pepe. I've been watching you for a long time."
Pepe smiled and leaned into the embrace. This, he thought, is love.
