LUCIFER

PROLOGUE

The room was empty and it had nothing except a chair, a table and a high watt bulb hanging from the ceiling. There was a ventilator high above on the wall through which sunrays entered the room and fell on the floor. There was a door and no window.

Suddenly the door opened and four people came into the room .Three boys and a girl. The first one had golden hair and stopped at the center of the room and looked around.

"Are you sure this is the place?" he asked.

"At least that's what the address said." the girl said.

"But then where is he? He said he'd be here before us" said the second boy sitting down on the chair.

"Well, I don't know about him but I know one thing well." said the third boy "My left hand has broken and I need treatment immediately."

"Let me see." said the girl and took his hand.

"Are you sure you will be able to cure it?"

"I was a doctor before I started working for him."

"Okay, do whatever you like, but do it caref...... whoa...whoa it hurts.... Ooowwww....."

"If you were not working for him the ambulance which would have carried you to the hospital wouldn't have needed any sirens." mocked the second boy. 'Dude, you shout so much!'

"If he wouldn't have worked for him the hand would have been all right.'Said the blonde with a serious tone."Once I go out of here I'll be going to police station and I'll surrender myself."

"Are you okay? Are you crazy? I mean seriously you want to go behind the bars?" the girl seemed confused.

"What we are doing doesn't seem delicate, does it? After leaving this place I'd live the rest part of my life with the guilt of killing people stabbing me. I won't be able to live."

"You go and die." The second boy said "But your surrender would also put us behind the bars and I don't want that. I hope the rest of us too don't want to spend their entire life behind the bars."

While they were busy arguing no one noticed the ventilator closing. Suddenly a low pitched male voice spoke up.

"So my soldiers you have finished your task."

"Lucifer, where are you?" the boy with broken arm asked.

"You said you are going to meet us." the girl said.

"Where are you?" the blonde asked.

"Keep patience my army. You can't meet me so easily." said Lucifer 'So goodbye my army."

The voice stopped just as suddenly as it had started.

"What did he mean?" said the guy with broken arm. "Is our...." Before he could finish he was shushed by the girl. "Did you hear that? Did you hear the police sirens?"

Her eyes were wide with fear. The others were frightened too. They could hear the conversation between two men.

"Sir, I saw those coming in." said one of them."

"But I see no one here."

"But sir I saw them."

"I see wall on all four sides. Now don't tell me there is a secret chamber beyond the wall. Do you take me for a fool? Don't ever dare to toy around with me!" he walked away.

The man stared at the wall with a confused expression. Beyond the wall there was an empty room and it had nothing except a chair, a table and a high watt bulb hanging from the ceiling. Very few people knew about the secret room and only one of them is alive.
