A New Chance-1

 Abi ran from her abusive home as she heard yelling behind her. Abi looked as she turned a corner into an ally that went through to 46th street. She ran faster and saw a crowd in front of a theater. She ran into the crowd hoping to get away. She ran into the middle of the crowd and the people started pushing in on her trying to see whatever was at the front of the gate. She started to feel lightheaded and then just saw blackness.

Abi had passed out and someone had carried her inside. As she started to wake up she could here people talking. "I don't know what to do with her Anthony." "Well you have to do something," Abi heard a female voice say. She heard the same male voice say "We could have her stay here for a while until we figure out where she should go." Abi soon woke up and looked at the three of them standing in front of her. She looked around the room and saw a small fridge and what looked like a dressing room mirror. "Where am I?" Abi asked trying to think. "You're in a dressing room in the Richard Rodgers theater. To be more specific my dressing room. I'm Lin." "Hi there, I'm Phillipa but most people just call me Pippa," said a girl with long brown hair who looked to be about twenty. "And I guess that leaves me," said the last person standing in the middle of the two, "I'm Anthony." Abi looked between the three of them standing in front of her and decided that she wouldn't try to run fro here. She figure that if she did they would just stop her anyway. They told her to grab her backpack and come with them.

They led Abi to an empty dressing room. She didn't know why they were being so nice to a stranger 15-year-old they had found on the streets. As she passed people- that she assumed were the cast of whatever show was playing- they all smiled at her. They opened a door that showed an empty room with a couch and a small nightstand with a lamp sitting on top of it.

Abi sat down on the couch and the three of them left to go get ready for the show. She looked around the room and realized this might be a chance to start over.

So this started as an essay for school and Iknow that chapters are short but I will do my best to write daily but like I said I have school
