The last man

chapter 1 the beginning

Hi my name is Jack Wolf i'm a lone survivor in the wastes with nothing but my gun and I to fight off the heard's of the infection. There is no one here but me witch is what I think because for all I know my sister is still out there fighting hard core because that's her the bow loving killer with no heart in mind and just being a jerk. Any ways there was a group of military infected with the ammo and food I need to last me months but the problem is there farther away then I can get them with my sniper or ill be ten feet in the grave if I try to hit them. So now i'm trying to get closer to them and what is my surprise I see infected falling down with a arrow in the head. I didn't see were it cam from but by the angle the arrow's hit them I knew were they were so as I approached the area with my gun at point I find a girl with black sneakers,black hoodie, tight blue jeans, and a camo wooden bow. Once she peeked out of the bushes I shot the ground showing that it was my supplies as that happened she slid into the bushes with some of the food I needed and slowly creeped towards me in the bushes acting like I didn't see her but she didn't know that. So once she jumped out I grabbed her arm and we were face to face and I looked at her arm and saw a star and at that moment I knew it was her River Wolf my sister. Once she saw I looked at that she knew it was me and broke free from my grasp and ran off down the road heading towards the heard of infected coming at us. Once she saw that she turned around and ran my way and grabbed my arm and dragged me to a safe spot. Once the heard was gone she told me to come with her. At that moment I thought she was going to try to ditch me but no she brought me to a old shed with the roof falling in and moss all around it with some new planks on the side looking like some one is trying to repair it. River asked how I was still around with my old sniper. I told her that I was a spy looking for her but she didn't fall for it and asked why I shot the ground when I saw her. I told her I have my reason's and she has her but once again she didn't want to hear it and told me to tell her the hold story so I handed her my book that I write down in when I find something new just in case some one found it they would know my story and I would be come the hero of the wastes. So once she was done reading it I started to write in it some more because I needed to update it and once River saw what I was doing she knocked my book out of my hands to told me to stop wasting time and go out to look for supplies.  Now I know my sister but I've never seen her like this. She tells me if the infection happened then she will be a big old jerk and not have a heart for any one but me and that heart she has for me is like a 0.1 out of 100 so now i'm hanging on by a tread so I better not make her mad or i'm dead in my sleep. Any way as we went out for supplies I saw another military zombie with a sniper rifle suppressor that would fit my gun so I went for the kill but my sister spotted out a new group that some how survived but I wasn't going to let them take my kill so I took the shot for one of the guys and sure enough they ran and River said that was stupid............ well the jobs done as she walked off to search the body as I spotted there sniper and he was aiming for River so I did what every one would do take aim and shoot. Once I took the shot River ducked down and said "WHAT THE HELL!!!!" as she looked at me I said that there was someone else that was aiming for her and she gave me a look that was unexplainable and said "well why didn't you let him shoot me huh?" she said as she raised her right eye brow at me so I laughed and we went on to get the suppressor and once I got it I spotted a prison with the fence bent down and broken so I told my sister to look and sure enough she said maybe it was from the living dead show so we just left if and once we returned to her shed we saw it was on fire and we saw foot prints that leaded to a compound near by called the Defenders they were the only group that River knew about and she knew this day was coming so she told me to grab as much stuff as possible because were going out to a new place so I grabbed as many good items as possible and found the book my sister knocked out of my hand and I picked it up and found the rest of my gear in tacked so I grabbed it and sneaked my book in my back pack and told River I was ready. So the off we went to find a new home and maybe even find more gear but before we went my sister wanted to leave a surprise for the Defenders so she left a MRE with a piece of TNT and set it up so that if they pick it up they die. I asked her were she got it and she said she got it from the Defenders and I trusted here and so we left on a journey that was going to be great.
