Thanks so much for some of the support I have had from yous, this chapter took ages cos I could only write so much at a time since I haven't had very much time at my dads house right now, I have just moved house and I don't have the Internet in my new house yet but I'm working on it:P I hope yous enjoy this chapter and if yous do please vote and comment for chapter three ta xx

CHAPTER2:
So I stood there, waiting for them. After about 30 seconds or so I heard there footsteps approaching me, but the sound of the tapping from the feet in from in were a woman leading. I guessed my mother. 'Ruby?' the woman asked. Again I was guessing it was my mother. 'Yes?' was my brilliant answer, 'Oh ruby. Are you alright, its your mother.' By then I had turned around to face her for a civil conversation but she already had her arms around me. I looked at the guy closest to my mother and cocked my eye-brow as if to say 'awkward' and slowly put my hands on her back loosely. I was the one ending this... cuddle. 'So you're my mother- Esme? I asked her. 'Yes dear, I'm your mother, and I'm a vampire- just like yourself' she said this with a smile, so I took it as she enjoys her immortal life. I was about to say something when I was interrupted by the boy that was closest to my mum, 'I think It would be better if we take this somewhere I little more private, don't you think Esme?' 'Oh yes dear, your right. Would you mind coming with us to our home, just to talk things over. You could stay if you like because your more than welcome to' my mother said this with a pleading look in the her eyes as if to say 'I really want you to come'. 'um... sure, okay' again was my great answer and that boy closest to my mum- I wish I knew his name cos that's a of a mouth full- laughed. 'I'm Edward' and he stuck his hand out for me to shake. Out of politeness I did. Most of them had started making their way towards the furthest door at the end of the corridor and headed for their cars, which I thought was totally pointless because we could run, but they were quite nice cars. A girl not much taller than myself approached me and smiled while saying 'would you like to ride in my car' and pointed to her car which was a yellow sports car thingy-mobob. I heard a muffled laugh came from over where Edward was standing and looking over in my direction. 'What? I asked rather annoyed. 'aw, Edward can read minds so what ever you were thinking was rather comical to him." said the girl who's car I was going in. 'I can see you doing my head in' I said to him and he just looked to the girl who's car I was getting in. 'well Alice is she?' Edward look at the girl who was going to be driving me home, so her name was Alice. Her face went blank as if to find something in her memory or something, and then she looked as if she came back- but not as if back to life. As if she was paying attention to the conversation, she laughed then looked at Edward 'yes I can see her being very annoyed with you' what is she talking about, can she see the future of something? 'Yes she can' Edward answered my thought. I hopped in Alice's car and she raved the engine, I thought this was funny as did Alice. 'so where do yous stay exactly?' I asked Alice as we exited the school car park. 'just outside howgate. You knew where that is?' she asked, I had a vague Idea of where she was. 'em yea, about 10miles out from peebles?' I answered. She nodded and smiles, to a human at was about a half our drive but it would probably take us about 5-10 Min's. Alice seemed really nice, 'so what's my mum like?' I asked her. 'oh Esme, she's brilliant. She would never hurt a fly and she loves us all very much.' She smiled the whole time for saying this. I smiled at the thought of my mum being a wonderful mum to the others, maybe she could be a great mum to me? Hopefully. 'you know, she wants you to move in with us? Alice added, interrupting my thoughts. My mum wanted me to be apart of her new family, I felt like saying 'awwwww' and Alice knew it too, and she gave me a wide grin. 'so ruby, am I right?' ' yes your right' I smiled at her, ' what do you like getting up to in your spare time?' she asked me and seemed to be eager for my answer. 'um, oh I love shopping! Shopping's a must. And parties or sleepovers. Yourself Alice? I said turning me whole torso around to look at her like we were gossiping. 'oh my god, someone else who loves shopping! Thank god. I love designing stuff, like since you will probably move in or need a room if you chose to stay a lot, I would design a room for you and build it.' She said, wow I like Alice, she seems really nice and a lot like me. We arrived at the house first, so Alice took me in and showed me around the living room, ' wow, your house is like gorgeous. Its so beautiful, I love the décor in here.' I said as I walked around. "aw thanks, myself and Esme done it up our self's" she said rather proudly. And on that note in came the rest of the family, why did they take so long to come in? "we were discussing something." Edward answered- my head. "can you do me a favour Edward?" I asked him innocently. I was trying my best to not think about this so I could say it aloud for everyone to hear. " please.... Get the fuck out my head!" I said sticking my tongue out at him and then this big tall dude, with huge muscles started laughing and throwing his head back hysterically, "haha, your so funny" Edward replied sarcastically. "I know, you didn't have to remind me." And the big guy started laughing all over again. "ruby why dint you have a seat" some blonde guy said and motioned me to sit on the couch. "alrighty then." And I skipped over to the cream leather couch. Some others stood and Alice came and sat next to me with a smile on her face, I could see us too getting along well. Then Alice's face went blank, just like last time in the car park- she must be having another vision. Then her focus came back to us and she smiled a big wide smile, "I see us to getting on very well" she said and winked at me. "aw good good then" a just said back to her- well her vision. Then the blonde man cleared his throat as if to get our attention to speak. But my mother bet him to speaking, she seemed a little nervous. " okay ruby. I'm just going to come out and say this- would you like to come stay with my family and I?" oh my god, did she just ask me to move in with her and her family, I didn't know what to say. How would I explain this to the people at school, mind you that was the last thing I am bothered about right now but... "em... well, doesn't you family have a say in this, I mean none of them know me and I only know Alice and Edwards name" a said to my mother, she just looked at me then looked around the room as if for one of them to speak. One girl stepped forward, she had long brown hair and was really pretty, her eyes were just the same as everyone Else's were. And she took a breath to speak " hi I'm Bella Edward's wife. I have no aversion of you joining our family so I say yes, I would you to move in with us." She said this with a smile and then walked over to Edward- the annoying person who always has to peak into my mind like a little nosy bugger. "oi! Its not my fault I read minds." Edward said, oh aye, I forgot he read minds when I was thinking that. "never said it was did I." I replied, he just laughed. "Thank you Bella." I replied to her giving her a warm smile. "well of course I want you to stay! You're the only other vampire I know that likes to go shopping and have parties" Alice said the a massive grin from ear to ear. This was funny and everyone else thought this as well. "Aw ta Alice" and gave her a one arm hug. Then the big guy stepped forward whilst holding hands with a really pretty girl with blonde hair. "Well I'm Emmett and this is Rosalie. We would be more than happy for you to move in with us, I mean after all you are Esme's daughter of course." And the both smiled at me. " Hi Emmett, Rosalie. Thank you both very much." And smiled back. With that I stood up and walked over to my mother and began to speak, "I would like it so much to stay with a real family, your family. If you are sure its okay with all of you." I said this while looking round the room, seeing smiling faces. "of course its okay ruby. Your part of Esme's family so you are now part of our family" a blonde man said. "Thank you em..." "My names Carlisle." He smiled at me. "well thanks Carlisle." I felt so happy, I was now apart of a proper family, this was great. I would go home to a real home with family after all these years I would be apart of something real. "why don't we sit and discuss what we have been doing over the years dear?" my mother said. " okay but before we go I still don't know a few names, I know Alice, Edward, Bella, Emmett, Rosalie and Carlisle" I said while pointing to each face and saying each name. "well this is Jasper, Alice's husband." And my mum pointed to a fair haired man sitting next to Alice and he smiled and waved , "and this is Renesme and Jacob, Renesme is half mortal and Jacob's a shape shifter." My mum pointed to a girl who looked the same age as me, which was good. Hopefully she would get on well with the friends in my school, I'm sure she will. The Renesme spoke first" hey, its so nice to meet you, I'm sure we will get on very well. And by the way I love your shoes." She said looking at my shoes. "hi, and its nice to meet you too. And thanks I got them in Italy- specially made." I said and winked at her. She and Alice laughed. "okay dear lets go to the library and discuss things." With that we were headed to the library, which was on the third floor. We sat down on two Mahogany chairs in the center of the room, not that we needed to sit down but we did. "okay so how did you become a vampire mum?" I asked her, maybe I would find out why she tried to kill herself. " Well Ruby I want you to know that I loved you very much and I never wanted to loose you, its just I feared for your safety. I was being threatened by a man for a good few months before my 'death' and I thought the best way to end it and secure your safety was to leave and leave for good. Of course you would have been put in some kind of home, what with having no family and with that my mind was decide, I want you to know this was mostly for your safety. And well with that a jumped. When the doctors found me they thought I was already dead and sent me straight to the morgue, that's when Carlisle found me. He was a doctor- he still is- and he knew I wasn't dead, yet. So he took me from the morgue into his home and that was when I was transformed into a vampire, I wanted ever so much to come and find you but I knew I couldn't. so there was Carlisle, Edward and myself. I like this life of immortality, we are different. We don't hurt humans or drink their blood. We think of ourselves as vegetarians because we only live on animal blood." And she smiled at me. "em, well I also live on the blood of animals, I feel that if a want to co-exist with humans then I don't want to hurt them. Since I was never apart of a family- till now'- I said with a smile-' I wanted to have friends and people I could live my life with." I could see she was pleased by this, "Oh ruby, this I'm glad to hear. Now, tell me how you were introduced to immortality." And I did, "well, it was a night after my fifteenth birthday and I was lying in my bed in the care home. It was dark outside and I was nearly drifting off. I thought I was dreaming when I saw a brilliant white creature slide through my window, I knew it was a man straight away, he smiled at me and then came closer. The next thing I remember was feeling as if he was burning me, it was so so hot I couldn't bare the feeling, after a while the burning started decreasing. And I woke up in a weird place, I knew I didn't want to stay there and once the man explained my power and the rules I was aloud to leave,'- "sorry dear to interrupt but how did this man know your power?"-' oh his friend had a gift that knew if in immortal had a gift and he told the man my power- I have the power of a witch. Like spells and stuff. He was very sad to see me go, but wouldn't stop me. He said that I was welcome back at anytime and was sad to see me go after such a short period of time. After I learned how to handle the immortal side of things, and realised I wanted to co-exist with humans I decided to start in schools again, it wasn't easy to do it without parents but I managed. I have been moving around a lot and this is when you found me in Preston lodge high school." I said the last part with a smile, because I liked this school. "oh dear, your gift sounds extraordinary. I should probably tell you about the gifts in our family, lets see well Edward is a mind reader but you know that and you also know that Alice can see the future, Renesme can put pictures in your head by touching your face, Bella is a shield, she can stop Edward from hearing your thoughts for example and Jasper can know your feelings and change them too, for example if your were nervous for any reason he could calm you down again." Her family sounded wonderful. In the next hour or so I learned that Jacob could phase into a wolf and Renesme is half mortal because she was conceived when Bella was human, on Bella and Edward's honeymoon. And that the volturi came to destroy the Cullen's family( that was all their seconds name and soon to be mines as well) because the thought Renesme was dangerous and abomination, which I thought was totally absurd! And that My mum and Carlisle were married as well as- Edward and Bella, Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett and Renesme and Jacob where a couple. That was nice. I'm a loner. "I see that you are the same age as Renesme looks so..." oh so she isn't my actual age. "what age is she?" well her real age is 8 but she stopped growing two years ago and will always look 15- like yourself." "aw that's good, hopefully she will get on with my human friends then." I smiled at the thought. "why don't you go talk to her, I know she will want to find out stuff from you soon anyway so just go the last room on the left on the fourth floor" she said with a smile, "okay thanks." And I walked out the door to Renesme standing at the top of the stairs- smiling. "want to come see my room?" she asked and already dragging me upwards. The door had a big bright pink R on the front of it. Renesme opened the door and said" so this is my room", it was gorgeous. Bright pink and white. She had a white bed frame with pink covers, a white wooden desk with pink stationary and white walls with pink flowers on them. There where several doors, I wondered what the where. "okay so that door leads to my bathroom, that's my closet and I will show you this door once I've shown you my closet." And she dragged me to big pink double doors with her name in fancy writing in white, she opened her door to reveal a room full of clothes, shoes, handbags and jewellery bigger than her bedroom. "wow!" was all I could say. She had soo many clothes, I could tell they were all designer and some I even had myself. "so I take it you like you clothes and accessories as much as I do?" I asked Renesme. She turned around and smiled, " its fun to look really pretty isn't it. Now let me show the mystery door" and she ran out the room and towards the unknown door. She opened the door and there was a big whole on the middle, "what's that?" I asked looking confused. "this is a slide, It takes us down the living room, Alice built it for me. She loves going overboard on things and she is unstoppable force. So don't challenge her, haha." She explained. "nice to know. So where do you all go to school?" I asked her hoping she would come to my school. Well they are discussing whether or not to go to your school since you enjoy it so much." That's good, " really, aw that's great, I'm sure you would get on great with my friends. Do you like sleepovers?" I asked rather excited. "em well, I have never had a sleepover. " she said sounding quite glum, "really? Aw well we can arrange one, because me and my friends love them and they are so much fun." Her face lit up with the sound of up coming sleepover, I felt glad. We were getting on so well, " its really dark outside so I will show you the garden stuff tomorrow but I will show you the rest of the house." She explained. We walked along to the end of the hall on the fourth floor and she stopped, "Alice and Jasper's room," walked downstairs and along the left side of the hall, "okay so this if my mum and dads room", walked over to the right side of the hall and then she stopped and faced me, " I know this is the library" I admitted since I was in it earlier. "yes but there's a door in the that leads to another room, lets go." We walked through the library to find Edward Carlisle and Esme in there talking, "hey guys, just showing Ruby the house, that okay?" Renesme explained, "yes that's fine dear" Esme answered. "thanks" I decided to give me input, and as per- Edward thought my mind was funny, I didn't think it was that comical. Renesme towed me into the room behind to the door to unravel a home movie theatre. It was huge, leather seats and a massive screen, "so here is our movie theatre" Renesme pointed out and lifted her arms in the air. "jeez, a shoot and a cinema. Yous obviously have a lot of spare time." Well since we didn't sleep there was pretty much a lot of spare time. "well yeah. Myself and Jacob sleep but the have much more spare time than ourselves." Aw so the half mortals do sleep. "why don't I show you the second floor and downstairs?" she asked me but already pulling me out of the cinema and past Edward Carlisle and my mum in the library, we ran down the stairs and along a long corridor, " okay so that door leads to Emmett and Rosalie's room, that door leads to Jacob's room, that door leads to Carlisle and Esme's room and that room leads to a Jacuzzi. If you want once your settled in we can go in the and you can tell me what you and your friends like to do at sleepovers." And her face broke in to a big smile again at the mention of sleepovers. "yeah that would be cool, I think you will love the stories and our sleepovers." I said and we were already heading downstairs. "living room, kitchens through there and around there is the dining room." And she pointed to each room as she said it. "oh ruby!" someone called from the dining room, and then Alice appeared from around the corner. "when would you like to go and get your stuff from wherever you are living?" she asked, "em, I could go now to save time if you'd like?" I wonder if she would want to go in her again. "okay, I'll just grab my car keys." She said and just about to walk off when some called over from the couch, I think it was jasper. "Alice, shouldn't you ask her if she wants you to come with her before you run off?" I was right, it was jasper. "I know but I can tell she would want to go back in my car again." And she winked at me. Jasper never replied but I seen him shake his head and muffle a laugh. Alice was back shaking her hand with a set of keys in them. "lets go." She said and grabbed me arm and hauled me in out the front door. " uh didn't you leave your car there?" and I pointed to the spot where she left her car last. " yeah well I moved it round the corner. Its just round there." So we headed to where she explained her car was. We got settled in the car, and she had just started the engine when my phone started vibrating. "sorry its I got to take this, its my friend eilidh." She smiled, as if to say 'no problem'. "hello?" I answered the phone. "Ruby! Where the hell are you?" she sounded angry and really worried, oh I just forgot that I had ran out during the middle of the concert. I have to improvise, and then Alice put her hand out for the phone, i had no idea what she was going to say but I gave her it anyway, "hello, Eilidh am I right?" she asked in a serious tone. She sounded really mature. I could hear eilidh through the phone, "yes its eilidh, who are you?" she asked, I worried what Alice was going to say but never said anything. "this is Ruby's social worker. I'm sorry I dragged her out of her concert but I had something very important to discuss with her. I had a family willing to adopt her straight away and Ruby has happily agreed to stay with this family so she is going to home to get her stuff, I'm sure she will explain it tomorrow at school but for now we have to go." So that was going to be our story around this whole thing. "um, okay. Tell ruby I will see her at school tomorrow. Bye." And then the phone cut off. Alice handed me the phone back and smiled. "aw so that's our excuse." I said rather happy I never had to come up with the excuse. " I just thought on my feet, I will have to explain it to the rest of them later on cos they actually hadn't agreed on an excuse but too bad now." Alice explained. I pointed out where my flat was and she followed me in. my flat was tiny compared to my new home but I guess it was just for me so..." I will just grab most of my most wanted valuables. I usually go shopping a lot and don't wear clothes twice unless I really like it, so I won't be bringing much clothes, is that alright." I asked and her face lit up, obviously she loved shopping a lot. "of course, i hardly let anyone wear clothes twice anyway so I could come shopping with you too, it would be nice to have a shopping partner that was actually as enthusiastic as myself." It didn't take long for me to gather my things. " so I will probably get a room set up for you soon and Edward told me that Renesme would like it if your room was next to hers with a door to connect to the both rooms together, would that be alright?" Alice asked me with two boxes of my stuff in her arms, walking towards the elevator. A room next to Renesme sounded cool so I just agreed. "what colour would you like your room?" she asked. I kind of like a red and white flower them so I told Alice and she then looked into the future for my room and then whilst hopping in the car and the whole way home she explained it out to me, it sounded so nice I couldn't wait to see it. When we got home Alice went away upstairs and started planning my room, so I headed up to Renesme's room to remind her about the Jacuzzi time she promised so we could discuss everything. I knocked on the door and she opened it instantly. "I took the liberty of picking out a bikini for you for our Jacuzzi time." Renesme handed me a red bikini with black flowers on it, it was really nice, "aw thanks. Alice told me that you would like my room next to yours." I pointed out with a wink. She blushed and said "only if you want to?" aw she looked like a little 6 year old when she was nervous. "yeah, of course I wouldn't mind. Alice is going to put a door in somewhere to connect our rooms together." I explained and she smiled. We walked down to the Jacuzzi room and changed in to our bikini's on and se turned on the bubbles. We hopped in and got settled for a long gossip.
