if you were to kill yourself tonight...
your parent or guardian would find you, cries and screams would fill the air. they'd hold you tight and wish this was all just a dream. they'd apologize over and over, their tears dripping onto your cold skin. 911 would be called and your body would be taken away by an ambulance. you'd lay on a cold metal bed in the morgue as your family grieves. while you're being cut open at the chest and stomach for examination, a member of your family will find a picture of you and hold it close to their chest, loud sobs escaping their mouths as they slide down a wall. the next morning, your community would get the call. the call explaining that a member of their child's school has been found dead. more and more tears are shed and more guilt washes over the town. your friends would lock themselves in their rooms, tears falling one by one. "i should have saved them" and "this can't be happening" would be going through their minds. those who didn't know you would frown, wishing they could've spoken to you. your death would cause everyone around you to suffer. they'd experience worse pain than you. as you lay in a coffin a few days later, your friends and family would gather around you, their faces streaming tears. they haven't stopped crying since that night. their pain would get worse by each passing day. they'd realize that "it gets better" is a lie. no one is fine. you thought no one had cared, but the truth is that everyone cared. they regret harming you. they regret letting you suffer, because now, they're experiencing your pain in ways you'd never know. your best friend took it hardest. you were all they had. with you gone, they took their own life to be with you. two young members of your community now gone. the pain, the sadness, and the regret is unbearable. do you want to be the one to cause all of this? put the knife, the rope, the pills, or the razors down. you can get through this. don't kill yourself. it will only make things worse.
