Percy pov.
One month after gaint war

Thing have been getting better. We lost a lot good people in war. One of witch was clarisse's boyfriend Chris Rodriguez son of Hermes. She hadn't been the same since. Same with others who lost their significant others or a really close brother or sister but were making do with what we have.

After the war I was thinking about how short life is and how I would handle lossing Annabeth. So I decided I was going to propose. I went to Athena last week and she told me that If I want her blessing then I would have to bet her in a battle. So yesterday I meet up with her at her palace on Olympus and had one of the toughest sword fight in my life. But after 3 hours of non-stop fighting I finally won and got her blessing.

As I was leaving I stoped by hephaeste's place to ask him to make the ring and he said that it will be done by morrnig and that I could stay the night their if I wanted to and I accepted.

And all that lead to where I am now I'm walking into camp and heading over to cabin 6 to ask out my wise girl tonight to propose. After about 10 minutes of walking i make it to her cabin and knock on the door after about 1 min the door opens. Malcolm asked " oh hey Percy what can I do for you?"  And I said " you can tell me where your sister is."" Oh she's in here would you like to come in""Yes please." Once Malcolm let me in I made my way over to the desk annabeth was sitting at designing different building. And ask "hay wise girl can you meet me at the beach at around 6:30."" Yeah sure thing seaweed brain I have some thing I need to talk to you about so I will see you there."" Ok thanks I'll see you later I have stuff to do today."  And with that I left to get ready for my big moment I'm so nervous. Any way I go to my cabin and check the time it's 3:30 right now. So I started getting ready.

I was waiting on the beach for annabeth in a nice sea green button down shirt and a pair of black shorts. I was looking at the ring I got her. It's Olympic silver with flects of Olympic gold mixed in. The diamond is sea green with a grey trident over it and next to it is a grey colored diamond with a sea green owl on it. On the in side are the word wise girl + seaweed brain = forever and always in Greek. I looked at the time as I put the ring in my pocket it said 7 annabeth is late and she's never late. I was just about to go look for her when she walk up with a determined look in her eyes.

She stopped 3 feet in front of me. I stepped closer and leaned in to kids her when she put a hand on my chest stopping me. I will be honest it kinda hurt my feelings. I was about to ask why when she started talking. " look Percy I don't think it's working out. After the war we both changed. I don't think its best if we continue dating" that was like a punch to the face. I started getting teary eyed and asked " are you breaking up with me" my voice cracked though out the whole sentence. She looked at the floor then the sky then back to me " yes Percy I'm breaking up with you. But I hope that in time we can still be friends" with that said she turned around and walked back to her cabin and left me standing there.

I walked back to my cabin and put the ring in my chesterdraws. That night I cried my self to sleep. For the rest of the week I spent most of my time in my cabin or in the ocean. The only time people saw me was durring meals.

Lunch had just started and I was sitting at the Poseidon table by my self as usual when chiron told me that the gods have requested the seven of the great prophecy, nico, and Reyna to a meeting on Olympus right way. We all got up and walked to the camp vans I sat in the far back and stared out the window the who way there.

When we got to the empire state building it was almost 5 so we walked in and asked the front desk man for the key to Olympus and he said " no such floor kid now go away" with out even looking up. I looked around and saw we where the only people in here so I uncapped riptide and hopped over the desk and said " you know you say that every time we come here and every time I end up with the key so is it going to happen like last time or are you going to do it the easy way."  By the time I was done talking he was shaking In his seat and look like he's seen a ghost. " t...think i will c....chose the easy w....way" he said and hand my the key and I capped rupture and put it back in my pocket. " good now that wasn't so hard now was it." And turned around to see the shocked faces of all my friend. I rolled my eyes and hopped back over the desk and walked over to the elevator" are you guys gonna keep standing there or are you coming" that snapped them out of there shock and they got into the elevator and started the trip to Olympus with twi things on my mind
One this is going to be a long day and two what could the gods possibly want now.
