"Woah, watch out," My friend Sandralise said as she grabbed my waist to stop me from falling in the water.
"Thanks, bro," I said laughing. I walked over to the tent to see Rachael and Jasmine sleeping, Rachael with her arm around Jasmine. I mentally awed "Wake up, sleepyheads!" I screamed in their ears
"OMG! Jordyn why?" Jasmine said holding her heart. I heard a faint scream coming from where I was just standing with Sandy
"Sandy, are you okay?" I screamed
"Help" I heard Sandy squeak, as I ran over to her and saw her standing over a body. As I got closer I saw that it was Rachael's boyfriend Lachlan.
"Rachael, no don't come here please" I said trying to stop her from seeing
"No let me pass" Rachael yelled and pushed past me to see Lachlan on the ground with his throat slashed Rachael dropped to the ground crying "Call 000, now!" she screamed
I pulled out my phone but there was no reception "There is no reception" I yelled stressing out
"Sandy snap out of it" Jasmine yelled, she walked over to Sandy who stood there looking dazed at the body, and slapped her. Sandy snapped out of it, looking up quickly
"Did you just slap me?" Sandy said holding her cheek.
I walked around trying to get service "I got service!" I screamed I called 000, and asked for an ambulance and the police. They arrived within the hour
"No please don't take him" Rachael screamed still crying and hugging his cold corpse
"Rach he needs to go Hun" I said ushering her to the car
"Can you drop me off at Jaiden's house please? I need to talk to him" Jasmine asked
"Sure" I said and started the car
"Hey I'm going to take my car back I think I need time to myself after what I just saw, but feel better Rach" Sandy said walking away "Racheal?" a detective walked over and ask
"Yes" she said walking in front of us
"Detective Holden, I will be the lead investigator in the murder of Lachlan Woods" he said pulling Rach away from the group we waited at the car for 15 minutes waiting for her she come back crying
"Omg Rach" Jas said and we both hugged her
"We can stay at my house tonight" I said we all got into the car and I pulled out and started driving to Jaiden's house it took about 40 minutes before I turned into his street, then into his driveway
"Bye, Jassy call me later everyone is staying at my house" I said as she got out of the car
"Okay thanks" Jasmine said quietly.
I don't think anyone has fully processed what we just saw, but Rachael was in the back still crying.
