This story is about a kid named Frank. He lives in a cabin at a cabin in Montana. He is trying to survive in the wild. He will hunt and gather his own food. He will find a way to purify his own water and survive. He was sent to collect blueberries for his mother's blueberry pie. He was doing that while his father milked the goats and collected the eggs from the chickens. Frank knew the best place to get blueberries but it was swarming with bears. That's why he took his rifle and a box of shells. That's when he seen a huge bear. He had heard legends of this bear. It was a huge black bear, scars up and down his face.
