If it wasn't for the workers finishing early and the constant roaring of mechanical equipment finally stopping, I'm aware I would never of seen her mother pull up, or her into the tinted window with her headphones in and that pink hoodie that was too small and ripped but that she refused to throw away, but again I must state that if it wasn't for her seeing me looking at her for so long to be able to describe her in this level of detail I'm scared  we never would of met, but she saw me, and she smiled and pushed her hair behind her ear, as she always did when she was  happy and sad at the same time, as one of the badly made headphones  she bought because she thought they looked cute, fell out of her ear slapping her in the face and making her walk away red faced, if i as quite correct she was embarrassed she had failed to look good, as she originally intended, but she was good, and I needed an excuse to speak to her, and thanks to my controlling and overly eager mother said we had to go and say hello.

So I did as I usually would do, I threw on my far too skinny black jeans, any random t'shirt that didn't stink and would fit under and dark checked shirt, and a pair of slightly worn swede boots, but as this was a girl I was intrigued by I thought why not and splashed on a little bit of cheap aftershave  in some vain hope that it would impress this complete stranger, but as I would later find, she didn't want the aftershave or any actual attempt, or even me, but that's still to come.

With the idea of finding a girl that wasn't completely appalled by the idea of being with me we left, my mother with her little threaded basket full of store bought muffins she'd pass of as her own and me with my creased shirt and slightly worn overly skinny jeans, smelling like a leak in some sort of biohazard zone that's only form of pleasant smell was a bit of lynx and Calvin Kline aftershave also paired up off with the red tint my skin often had, but we walked with a slight be of glee, to see her mother panting as she slowly without any intention carried boxes into the house, her mother appeared to be dressed in the tattered remains of a checkered dress, patched, I assume, with any loose bit of cloth she was able to find lying around, but it wasn't this that first intrigued my mother to speed up her walk, it was the noticeable absence of a man, and being the over eager, and overly forward woman she was made her want to find out more, i on the other hand was simply flicking through my Snapchat waiting to see the snaps of my friends getting ready for a party I wasn't invited to and the occasional blip of a celebrity that was far to drunk the night and flashed some indecent part of there body, anyway besides that, we were walking my mother flaunting that fake smile she'd worn so valiantly during her fifteen year marriage with my farther.

We walked passed the old oak where I and the old neighbours kid used to play, honestly I didn't like them but felt some need to show my parents that I was normal, but as recent events have shown, I'm quite far from it, but any way we edged closer and closer I felt a short and sudden fear, paired with the butterflies in my stomach made my first words seem almost normal to me,

the first words I spoke to her were short and simple ' hello my name is errm and this is my mother'

She laughed it off and said in a angelic voice ' hi erm I'm ivory, and this is my mother faith'
I stood there completely in silence, mesmerised by her beauty and complexion, my mother decided to respond for me,  '  his I'm Julie and this is Sam' ' although' she responded ' I'm sure erm is a much better name' she said with the obvious fake laugh she adds after everything she thinks will make her appear happy, but so she continued, offering the muffins to Faith, i observed ivory again, her jet black hair, and her hazel eyes complementing her pale skin and ruby lips, she had around her neck a sapphire necklace softly kissed, she was shorter than I was but certainly had much more muscle, that being because I never do any strenuous work, her mother as well was short and had blonde hair, azure eyes that seemed to see inside you, but a face so worn from the stresses she faced.

She asked us inside for coffee and to share one of the muffins, my mother being the maiden she was great fully accepted and with this split second decision, my life would never be the same again.
