(this story is dedicated to mine, and all the mothers around the world. Thank you for supporting us!!!!!)

What is a dream house? How would you want your dream house to be? This question when asked, has many answers,so many that most might render this question to be inexplicable and most might not answer anyway.

A fair amount of people would say that it is a palace, with all the luxury and comfort ever imagined, with carpets of silk and curtains of gold, ceilings made of glass, painted to perfection, ceilings that not only let the Rays of the beautiful morning sun in, but also aid in sharing the splendor of a million stars that shine like a maiden does, in all her youthful delight , when searching for a man who will complete her household. A house with long, narrow, endless hallways and innumerable rooms with chandeliers made of diamond and acres of green, bright and soft luxurious grass which tickle your bare feet when you finally give into temptation.

Then there are those, who say that a dream house is a place where one can enjoy with their families and friends, a place to call home. A place where one must learn the importance of silence, through all the noise, for it is never quiet, while living with the ones whom you hold dear to your heart!

Some say that it is a place where you live with your loved one, a special place for the two of you, where you would be together forever, holding comfort in each other, being each other's part and parcel.

Some base their houses on  its location, a place where the mountains are blue and the sky is clear, fresh air and a versatility of wildlife, where the adventure never ceases and everyday is a new one, where the thrill is constant and the amazement, even more so.

But for Raksha, what does it take for a house to be made a dream house?let's find out.

Getting up at 5 am, cook breakfast, light the lamp in the small Shrine in the kitchen, making sure the.lunch boxes were packed and arranging her husband's suit on the bed, this was a common practice for an Indian housewife and a mother of two, every morning. Her chores were usually completed around 6 in the morning, giving her enough time to wake her daughters up.

But this morning, something was different.

No,it was not that she was feeling unwell,it was just one of those gut feelings that you get when you feel that something was wrong, something unusual.

Brushing it aside, she proceeded towards her daughter's room,to wake them up as it was time for them to go to school. She gave a light tap on the door before she went in.

Opening the blinds and gazing at the serene faces of her daughters, she kissed the top of her younger daughter's head.

"good morning lakshmi,it's time for you to wake up now, don't you have school today?"

"ha mumma five more minutes ",said the still half-asleep lakshmi, who apparently had no intention of waking up.

"come on now don't you have an arts and crafts contest at school today? "

"oh that's right!I almost forgot!"yelled lakshmi in astonishment. "I didn't keep all my supplies!what am I going to do now!?",she asked her mother.

"oh calm down now child,I had already packed all your supplies the night before "

Her daughter's face brightened with joy and after a countless number of thanks you's and an apology, she abruptly left to change into her uniform.

Smiling at lakshmi 's antics, she moved towards her older daughter's bed to wake her up,but noticing that she was already awake, and had rushed to the bathroom so that her sister wouldn't hog the place, she decided to go to her husband's room, to greet him.

Her husband, raman was an employee of the finance department, working for the Indian government. So sleeping at 2 in the night and waking up at 6 in the morning was a usual habit. His lack of sleep was  one of the main reasons for him to get upset over the smallest of situations.

"raman have you woken up yet?"

No reply came.

"raman?"

There was still no reply .

This caused her to panicked slightly, as her husband was always the diligent type and believed in doing everything at a specific time. So deciding to go in,she boldly clutched the door knob.

Opening the door to her husband's room, she excused herself as she stepped inside.
