the Beginning to a Start

The first day of spring has always been my favorite since I was a child when my mom had fully explained to me what the day meant. It is as special to me as she is and was, which is likely the reason I appreciate it to the degree that I do. I've always wondered why so many others overlooked the day; I suppose it makes sense now. Most things aren't appreciated until they're given meaning.

Mama would tell me every morning that marked the official day of spring that it could only then be considered the new year and things could only get better after that day because everything was renewed, restored and reborn. It was the purest day of the year and even at the age of eighteen I still strongly believe in her words. Maybe it seems silly, but its one of the few things she said that has stuck with me since she passed. That, and the three words should would whisper to me before pressing her lips to my forehead, followed by her either wishing me a good night or to have a nice day at school. Her voice was always so sweet, strong and comforting.

Enough of that. It's much too early for me to be thinking about these things, and it isn't until tomorrow that these thoughts and feelings are going to be fully appropriate so, instead of stalling getting out of the warm and comfy mess that is  my comforter and bed sheets while daydreaming about the falling cherry blossoms of tomorrows morning, I will now somehow manage to remove myself from the bed and find the energy, in some form, to get ready for this Tuesday.
Finding energy shouldn't be too hard, after all, with as handsome a face as this, I'd be excited to see it if even if I wasn't me.

Ah, before I forget, the name is Boo Seung Kwan. I am currently a third year student in high school, age eighteen, as I mentioned earlier. To be honest, I'm not sure where I'll be going or what I'll be doing after high school, but I'm definitely feeling the pressure of continuing and going on to university.

I'm not too sure what to say after this, but I hope that you can take something from reading about my experiences within the story. There is no specific theme but it is about me, a young man who finds himself gradually falling to the ground from a beautiful, magnificent cherry blossom tree; No special than any of the other petals, but somehow lucky enough to land on the shoulder of Hansol Vernon Chwe whom he blindly carried me on his shoulder until I was lucky enough to gain his attention in a bathroom mirror where he carefully removed me from his shoulder, held me in front of him in the palm of his hand and smiled down at me.

Let's welcome the first day of Spring.

((Author's Note: Heyo, honeybees! This is my first time officially posting a Fanfic and I'm more than excited to get this story off the ground from here! Either way I'll continue updating this story, but I just want to know if this sounds interesting/good so far? It may not be much to go off of, but I can assure you that this will be a pretty in-depth story. I'll definitely be focusing on a lot of psychological things within the story while keeping it poetic, cheesy and very much VerKwan filled. Speaking of the VerKwan part, I can assure you that there will be plenty of those moments, and there will be PoV switches between both Vernon and Seungkwan which I think will be very interesting! Anywho, I'd really appreciate it if you would let me know in the comments if this is something that you'd continue reading if/when I do update- thank you so much!))
