Can I Be Loved Yet? Ch.1

I'm Ashlinn I live in a small town called Longfield I live alone with my single dad and a baby brother named Alex I attend Longfield High school 3rd year I don't have friends but I prefer it that way there isn't much that's interesting about me I'm quiet and I keep to my self others look at me weirdly but I don't care I'm used to it I've been used to it for the past 3 years but this is my story.

*bell rings* *kids are chatting in the background as they rush to class its pretty empty now but for 1 or 2 kids and Ashlinn walking through the hall slowly with a miserable look on her face* *last bell rings for class* *Ashlinn walks in class no teacher there yet and kids are throwing paper airplanes and balls of paper sitting on top of desks and joking around * *a girl throws a paper ball at Ashlinn as Ashlinn walks to her seat in the back of class the girl laughs with her friends saying stuff like "HA loser" Ashlinn doesn't react to it*

"Hey loser, You having a bad day Haha." *she high fives her friends*

"At least I don't look like I walked through a pink princess store for 5 year olds." *girls stop laughing and look at Ashlinn the girl gives her a dirty look*

"Stupid girl!" She says.

*teacher walks in kids scatter to there seats and sit down*

"Hello class"

"Hello Mr. Thompson!" replies the whole class

*time skip class bell rings* *Ashlinn grabs her stuff and gets up and begins to walk as the snobby girl from earlier stops her with her 2 friends beside her*

"Where you think your going?" she says.

"Class." Ashlinn replies

"You think you can just leave after making a stupid remark?"

*Ashlinn pushes past the girl and walks quickly out the class*

"Hey! I wasn't done with you!"

*Lunch time*

*Ashlinn goes and sits at a empty table with her lunch tray and a book that she is reading* *the snobby girl, her boyfriend, and her 2 friends walk up to the table shes at and pushes Ashlinn's lunch tray off the table onto the floor* *Ashlinn looks up at her with a what the hell are you doing expression on her face the snobby girls boyfriend grabs Ashlinn by the collar of her shirt*

"What the hell do you think your doing insulting my girlfriend and ignoring her when she's talking to you?

"It's a free country and its not my fault she's a petty brat. I feel bad that your even dating her." (damn it feels good to be a gangsta XD)

*tightening his grip on her collar* "You don't own this school like we do so stay out of our way and you won't have any trouble with us you got it?"

*he let's go of her collar and she drops on to the ground landing on her flat bottom*

*after school* *bell rings* *Ashlinn is walking through the hall leaving school she accidentally bumps a guy w/ black hair in the hall way but she's acts like it was nothing**something drops out of her bag* *the guy stops talking to his friends and looks over at her then down at the floor and picks it up* *he watches as she walks out of the school doors* *he runs after her*

"Hey! Wait up!" He calls.

*Ashlinn turns and looks at him*

"You dropped this." *he holds out a book* *it's her diary*

"thanks..." she grabs her diary from his hand and turns around and continues walking home**he speed walks up by her and walks with her*

"That's it?"

"No kiss on the cheek no sweet talk?"

"I'm not that snobby girl that dresses up for guys. That's how girls get raped."

"I can tell haha."

"I like that about you."

"Like what about me I'm the most hated girl in this school."

"Exactly. that's why I like you. Your not like the others."

"You know what allow me to walk you home."

"No..." *he stops she continues walking*

"Pshh well your lost."

"Whatever pretty boy"

*Time skip next day**Ashlinn is at her locker taking books out of her bag and shoving them into her locker**the guy from yesterday walks up to her and leans against the locker next to her with a smirk on his face*

"Hey!"

"What are you doing here weirdo? Don't you have something better to do?" 

"No. Other than stare at your pretty face from afar."

"By the way I didn't catch your name yesterday what is it?"

"I should be asking you that question"

*he smirks*

"Really? Why."

"So I can report you to the principal for stalking me."

"Oh well th--HEY WAIT!"

*Ashlinn giggles a little bit**the boy rubs the back of his neck and smiles*

"But in all seriousness what is your name?"

"...It's..Ashlinn..."

"..Oh..that's a neat name it's beautiful, my names Jack."

*bell rings**Ashlinn slams her locker shut with her books in her other hand*

"Well time for class later pretty boy." *she turns and walks away*

"My names Jack."

*she calls back*

"Whatever pretty boy."

*jack smiles at her as she walks to class**his guy friends walk over and greet him one slapping him on the back the other doing a bro handshake**Jack barley reacts to them**Jack's friends look at what hes staring at*

"Bro seriously? She's the most hated girl in school, why are you looking at her?"

"Bro don't tell me you have a crush on that Griffin." (Griffin is a name for a quiet person who's unpopular)

*time skip to just after bell rings for class being over to go to lunch**Ashlinn grabs her stuff and stands up and begins to leave when the snobby girl comes up to her again*

"Hey loser u look good today...not hahahaha." *her friends laugh w/ her*

"And you look less like a gigantic piece of cotton candy today haha....oh wait nope.."

*snobby girl gasps offendedly Ashlinn walks past her with out care smiling a bit**lunch time Ashlinn sits down with her tray and book again reading her book**the snobby girl and her boyfriend and 2 friends walk up behind Ashlinn**the snobby girls boyfriend goes behind Ashlinn and uncautiously picks her up by her collar again*

"H-HEY L-LET ME GO!!!" *everyone in lunchroom goes quiet Jack stops talking to his friends and looks over in there direction*

"Didn't I tell you not to stop insulting my girlfriend!?!?" *he tightens his grip**Ashlinn closes her eyes and turns her face to the side making a small whimpering sound**the guy makes a fist at her bout to punch her when all of a sudden there is a fist in his face he drops Ashlinn on the ground and he falls blood and a couple of his teeth fly from the punch*

"H-hey Ashlinn are you okay?" *the guy holds his hand out and helps her up it's Jack*

"I-I'm fine...thank you..." *without looking at him Ashlinn picks her book up off the floor and walks off*
