All of my life I have been called Benevolent. Yet it doesn't seem that way because of how easily angry I can get. You may be wondering why I'm writing in this journal, and I know, I know. I'm about to explain this to you. First off let me introduce myself. My name is Flynn Ryder Scott. It is currently the year of 2009 and i truly hate the years of being 14. My dad, Peyton laughs at me so much saying

     "Son, your'e just over exaggerating."

But of course I roll my eyes and walk away. Most kids have something to say wonderfully about their mother, but I don't... because she's dead. I have tried so many times to ask my father about my mother, but the only thing I can get out of him... is her name; Karen. Other times I walk by his study room, to overhear him talking about this book about some island. I usually don't hear more mostly because he closes the door and tells me to go to my studies in my room. I bet you can already tell that I am home schooled. Yeah, me and my dad have tried to send me to 5 different schools already... but most kids pick on me. My dad and I have had our troubles to cater food, yet I don't know why. I think it has something to do with my mother being gone and everything. If she's still alive?

"Flynn", yells his father. Flynn runs into his father's study room. "Yes dad?"

"Son, I need you to watch my phone for me and listen for any important phone calls. I need to get into work real fast because of an incident with the computers." Flynn's dad mumbles softly.

"Of course dad, get to work... Flynn whispers."

Father rushes out quickly.

So, back to what I was saying, my dad never tells me anything. Do you think I know where he works? No. I'm always bewildered with nothing told. "THUMP!" Flynn noisily jumps. A gigantic book appears on the floor. While picking up the book, Flynn blows the dust off. Coughing. "The Island Of The Forgotten..." Flynn reads aloudly.

 "So, this is the island?"
