(Y/N) POV:

I awoke to the sound of rain on the roof. I was unaware for a few moments to where I was. Then it all came rushing back. Ashton, the fight, screaming, ending with me running out. Which is why I find myself in my room at Niall's. The sound of the rain strangely soothes me. Its not too bad, I normally don't enjoy them. Ashton would comfort me during them. I try not to think about Ashton because it just makes me want to cry again. A huge clap of thunder came and interrupted my thoughts. I burrowed back into the blankets, wanting to forget the world. I lay still and silent for a few minutes when I hear something hit my window. I look over, seeing nothing. I shrug and turn back around thinking it was just the storm. Again it happened...and again...I finally got curious enough to get up and look to see what it was. I looked out the window but couldn't see anything because of the balcony. I decided it wouldn't hurt to step outside and see what caused the noises. As I opened the windows, I heard a faint strumming. I quickly opened the windows wider and strained to listen; it was a guitar, playing the music to my favourite song. I quickly got out onto the balcony and leaned over the edge, there stood Ashton, drenched, singing Check Yes, Juliet. "...Check yes Juliet, are you with me, rain is falling down on the sidewalk, I won't go until you come outside..." I was absolutely speechless, and crying although it just looked like rain on my face. I couldn't believe Ashton was doing this. Standing in the rain, under my window, singing my favourite song. I swear, I thought I couldn't fall in love with this boy anymore. Man, was I wrong. Ashton was my everything and looking down at him, singing, I couldn't help but forget about our entire argument. In this moment, it seemed like nothing. In this moment I knew we could get through anything as long as we worked together. "Ashton!" I yelled over the water pelting us from the sky, "get out of the rain!! You're soaked!!" He stopped playing and shook his head. "No! Come down! I feel absolutely terrible about our fight and I never ever want it to happen again! I love you way too much to let something like that tear us apart! I wouldn't be able to live right if I didn't have you by my side!!" He yelled up to me. I couldn't help but let out a laugh/cry, I loved him so much. I smiled down at him and turned around and quickly made my way back into my room, out the door, downstairs, out the front door and around back to meet Ashton. Just as I came around the corner of the house I saw him turn around, he took off the guitar and set it down in the grass as I ran up to him. He engulfed me in the best hug I had ever received. He held tight onto my waist and spun me around. I kept my arms around his neck as well. I would never let go of him. He set my feet back on the ground and held onto my hips. We lent our foreheads together and he looked into my eyes, "I'm so sorry for everything I said..." "Me too" I replied "god..." He breathed out "I love you so much" I smiled widely, "I love you too." I said, before he connected his lips to mine and we shared our first ever, passionate kiss in the rain.
