~Dan's POV
Despite the empty feeling in his chest, Dan finally looks up from the subway bench and watches a train speed out of the tunnel and into the other. Dan gasps as a passenger in the last compartment catches his eye. It can't be, it couldn't be. "P-Phil?" He manages to choke out. His eyesight starts to blurry as the train speeds into the tunnel. "You need to accept the fact that Phil isn't here and he's not coming back..he's never coming back."
~Phil's POV
"Phil, you can't just stay in your room forever," says his mum from his bedroom doorway. "Sweetie, if you miss him so much why don't you just go back? I bet he misses you as much as you miss him." He tries to keep the tears from falling, not wanting hs mum to see him cry. "He doesn't miss me mum..he wanted me to leave." His mum gives him a sad smile. "That's not true, you two have been best friends for years, why would he throw all of that away?" "I-It's complicated.." She walks in the room and sits on the bed. "What happened to you and Dan anyway?" Phil smiles slightly as he remembers the memories he shared with his flat mate. "It all started in the year of 2009.."
