Miraculous Memories - Heroes in the making

        "This is awful," Ladybug yelled as she and Chat were flung away by the newest akuma. "Aw, M'lady, it's not that bad. You gotta admit though, this akuma's got style. Hawk Moth must have been wide awake when he made this one." Chat yawned as they leapt out of the way of the literal walking, talking advert of the Blockbuster Lego Movie 's attacks. "No puns? I'm surprised, Kitty." Ladybug shot back, jumping up to escape an incoming wave of earthquakes. "Nah, way too tired. What was Hawk Moth thinking? The exams are well underway! I can barely manage school in between superheroes and actually GETTING A CHANCE TO SLEEP! HOW INCONSIDERATE IS THAT? Excuse YOU, Hawk Moth." It was three O'clock in the morning and they had been sound asleep when the akuma hit. For the past two weeks, incidents such as these, Midnight horrors, as Chat had dubbed them, had been happening repeatedly, almost daily. Can't blame Chat for thinking that. They really are horrors. From what evidence they gathered, Master Builder had been an 11 year old kid who refused to sleep without finish building his Lego set. His mother had stored away his half-finished set and refused to give it back to him until the end of the month, when the exams had finished. Master Builder, now under Hawk Moth's control, could create anything out of the elements in his control.

          "LB, please tell me you have a plan to end this madness. I swear ,it's like he's training us for future College all-nighters. I don't think I could last another five minutes even if I wanted to." Chat Noir yawned hugely as he dodged another fireball shot out by Master Builder's Lego-made staff. "You're probably nocturnal anyways. I mean, come on, you have NIGHT vision!" Ladybug protested as she hopped onto to nearest lamppost to narrowly avoid a huge wave of water hurling towards her, swinging her yoyo into a shield. Reflecting back attacks, she squinted through the darkness into the alley where Master Builder was residing. "Guess it's time to bring out the DEALBRAKER," Chat punned as he activated his Cataclysm. He skillfully dodged every single attack and was just about to cataclysm Master builder's glasses, which they had pinpointed where the akuma was hiding in, when, suddenly, a loud, sickening gasp was emitted from his mouth. Ladybug looked up and saw a spear made of wind protruding out of his back and sucked in a horrified gasp. The akuma laughed madly, as it sent a bolt of lightning towards her, which she dodged skillfully. "CHAT NOIR NO!" She screamed, tears leaked down her face as she raced to where he had fallen, lying in an ever-growing puddle of blood.

         "Oh Hawk Moth, you are so going to pay for this," she declared calmly, fists clenched with barely controlled rage , betraying her cool body stature. Change in tone made her sound deadly and terrifying. Swinging her yoyo faster than ever thought possible, she deflected attacks thrown at her with so much force that attacks which deflected buildings crumbled against the immense force inflicted upon it. Eyes blazing with fury, the distance between the two closed in the within a matter of seconds, her cracking her yoyo like a whip, sending them back as she solely focused on her task.

          Master Builder flinched at the sight of it and panicked frenziedly sent more attacks at her, which somehow not even a single attack came into contact, leaving a, otherwise unharmed, furious Ladybug. "LUCKY CHARM," She yelled as a taser dropped out of the sky and into her hand. She shot a taser beam at the akuma and watch it hit him, smiling satisfyingly at the sight of the convulsing body on the ground. "Remember Hawk Moth, the next time you mess with him, it won't just end here." She muttered as she broke the glasses and purified the akuma. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG," She yelled as she tossed the taser into the sky again, and pink light roamed the area, fixing the surrounding damaged buildings, and most importantly, Chat Noir.

         "You're alright,"She gasped and embraced Chat in a bear hug which he stumbled at the sheer force. "Never EVER do something like that EVER again, you stupid cat. You'll cause me heart attacks." She buried her face into his shoulder, face red with embarrassment. "Good to know you care about me too," Chat Noir grinned at her statement.

          "HOLY SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA!!!" A mixed squeal shriek rang out behind them. A stunned Ladybug and Chat Noir whipped around and saw a weeping Alya, holding her phone u for a live recording that had obviously captured the battle. "FINALLY, MY OTP SHIP HAS SAILED!" She gasped, calming down. "Oh, and that was one EPIC battle. Totally BADASS Now you guys know, DON'T MESS WITH LADYBUG," She commented an ended the live stream abruptly, the wide grin filling her face, eyes sparkling. "EEPPPPP" A red-faced Ladybug stuttered and looked lost, swinging away from the few seconds later after her limbs started working again. "Heh, you stayed up for the battle?" Chat Noir asked as he whistled appreciatively. "Yep. Honestly, Hawk Moth should know this by now, having it been two weeks since the crazy weird midnight cycle started. I never knew Ladybug had such MAD skillz." Alya stated excitedly, eyes sparkling like diamonds. Chat Noir and Alya shared a mutual grin before heading home respectively.

          Back at Hawk Moth's lair, a shrill scream resonated. He was beyond frustrated, just this close to repeatedly banging his head against a wall. "That was the most powerful akuma I've ever created, Nuuru!  HOW WAS SHE ABLE TO DEFEAT IT, MUCH LESS ALONE WITHOUT CAT NOIR'S HELP?" He shouted in frustration. The violet-colored Kwami whimpered timidly, daring not speak up what was truly going on in its mind. "She may have been weaker in terms of power compared to that akuma , but what she lack in strength, she makes up with sheer determination and wit. After all, she was deemed, a worthy wielder of the ladybug miraculous, by the Great Guardian."Hawk Moth shrieked in fury again, making the kwami wonder how the soundproof walls were holding up. "Congratulations, Tikki, for your wonderful chosen." Nuuru whispered quietly. "After all, you do have the best luck among all of us.""

           "Protective of Cat Noir, eh? That does a great deal of a favor for everyone. Funny, I think I have just the perfect idea ...  Time to go kitty hunting~"Hawk Moth mused, a hint of a sing-song tone tilted in his voice. (Which, due to my utterly tragical abysmal writing skills, makes it sound weird and borderline creepy)

            Nuuru sigh and mentally face palmed. "Master, you always say that. And just a friendly reminder, every single one of your perfect, brilliantly ideas has failed up to date." Nuuru sigh and mentally face palmed.

           "SHUT UP, NUURU!"
