PART 20

SanDhir spent entire day in their room.
They didn't go for lunch date.
All they were worried for was only for Sara.
In evening.

"Come on Sanyukta lets go" Randhir said

"Haan..." She replied

"Don't worry...she will come with us" Randhir cupped her face

"I want her back Randhir..." Sanyukta said

"She will....come on now...lets leave" "Or else we will get late..." Randhir said

"hmmm..."

"Papa...I have prepared daliya for you" "Please time se kha lijiye" Sanyukta told Harsh

"No worries...Sure beta..." "Aap dono enjoy karo" "I am so excited...Sara will come back now" Harsh said

"Dad...take care" "We will be back soon" Randhir said.

Both of them left for Parth's house Sara was playing with Vidhan. Randhir and Sanyukta saw her playing with Vidhan.
She looked happy.

"After so many days I am seeing my baby smiling..." Randhir said

Sanyukta didn't said anything she was just looking at Sara.
Sara saw her parents standing at a distance.

"Baby..." Sanyukta was about to go to Sara but Sara ran away inside the house

"Sara...Sara..." Sanyukta shouted her name to stop her but she was gone.

It hurt them.

SanDhir,Vidarth and kids had a joyful time at dinner.
Now it was time to leave.

"Sara I am going to miss you so much" Parth picked Sara in his arms

"I don't want to go" Sara said

"No Sara...you are good girl. Right?" "So come on...Mumma and Dad are waiting for you" Parth said

"You will come to meet me?" Sara asked

"Yes ofcourse..." Parth said

"Bye Sara..." Vidhan said

"Bye Vidhan...do come to my house..." "We will play again" Sara said

"My house..." Did she say that.
The made SanDhir little happy.

"Bye..." Sara bid bye to Vidushi,Parth and Vidhan.

Soon they were on the way to Shekhawat house.
Sara was feeling sleepy.
Sanyukta turned her head and rested it on her chest.
Sara automatically locked her hands around Sanyukta's shoulders. Sanyukta tapped her back lightly and Sara was in deep slumber.
Sanyukta too closed her eyes.
They reached home.

"Sanyukta...utho...ghar aagaya" Randhir said

"Hmm..." She rubbed her eyes

"Wait...I'll pick her..." Randhir took Sara in his arms.

"Randhir...humare room main sula do usse" Sanyukta said.

Randhir followed her words.
He made Sara sleep in the middle of the bed.
Sanyukta quickly changed herself and laid next to Sara.
Randhir to join them soon.
But sleep was far away from Randhir. He couldn't sleep whole night.
He was in deep thinking.
He was worried for Sara and Sanyukta.
He turned her face and saw the two beautiful angels sleeping peacefully.
A tear drop slipped from his eyes.
He was guilty.
He was guilty for each and every insult of Sanyukta.
He was guilty for whatever happen with Sara.
If Sanyukta is his heart and then Sara is his heartbeat.
Randhir got up from bed.
He went to balcony.

*flashback*

"Baby say...Mumma...say Mumma..." Sanyukta was teaching Sara to speak.

A year old Sara smiled brightly.

"Mumma..." "Bolo...Mumma..." Sanyukta said Randhir was recording the beautiful capture in  DSLR.

"Mumma..." "Say it Sara..." Sanyukta chuckled

"Sara...look here...baby...look here..." Randhir called Sara

"Sara..." Sara turned her face to Randhir.

Randhir clicked her picture.

"Sara...say Daddy..." "Daddy..." Randhir said

"Da..Da...Daddy..." Sara spoke in soft and cute baby voice

"Da...Dady..." She said again and clapped her hands in happiness.

That was happiest moment of Randhir's life.

"She called him Daddy for the first time"
The first word she spoke was 'Daddy'  It brought happy tears in his eyes.
He took Sara in his arms and kissed her soft cheeks.

"Daddy..." Sara said again and Randhir kissed Sara's tiny forehead. Sanyukta captured the moment.

"Daddy's princess" Sanyukta commented looking at the picture.

"See...she said Daddy first" Randhir said

"Okay...You win I lose..." Sanyukta happily admited her defeat

"Da..daddy..." Sara said again

*flashback ends*

Randhir wiped his tears remembering the beautiful memory.

"Sorry Sara..." "Sorry...your Daddy has hurt you so much princess" "I am really sorry..." Randhir said in his heart.

Morning arose.

Sanyukta didn't find Randhir on bed. Sara was still sleeping. She covered her with blanket and peck her forehead before getting up from bed. She searched for Randhir and finally found him sleeping in balcony.

"Randhir..." He placed her palm on his forehead.

He opened his eyes.

"You slept here in balcony" "Why?" "Tum thik ho..." She asked

"Nothing...kal neend nahi aarahi thi...so came to balcony to spent some time...phir pata nahi kab yahi aakh lag gayi" "Is Sara up?" Randhir said

"No...she is sleeping..." "Chalo come inside..." She said.

She turned to go but he held her hand.
She turned around.
She can read his eyes.
She can feel the pain he is going through.
Sanyukta didn't say anything and took him in her embrace.
She could feel his tears touching her neck.
She rubbed his back lightly.
She has never seen him like this.He is broken. He is in pain.
Even Renuka's death didn't affected him this much.
Sanyukta has seen this side of Randhir.
He is very sensitive when it comes to his family.
He is like coconut. Hard from inside and soft from inside.

"Bas..." She said and rubbed his nape.

"Bas Randhir..." She kissed his head.

"Randhir..." She broke the hug and cupped his face.

She wiped his tears and kissed his forehead.

"You feeling better now?" She said.

He nodded.
It is always like this.
Only she has seen him crying like this. For world he is rough and tough Randhir Singh Shekhawat.
But only she knows the real Randhir. Only she has seen vulnerable side of Randhir.

"Isn't it a happy day for us today?" "Sara is back..." Sanyukta said.

He nodded like a small child.

"Sara bhi itna nahi roti Randhir..." She joked to cheer him up.

Randhir broke into a smile.

"Come lets go inside..." She held his hand firmly.

Sara was sleeping in the middle of bed.
Randhir went to her.
He took her into hers and kissed it.

"Love you beta" Randhir murmurred

Sanyukta smiled at his gesture.
