The Ride Fic [✔]

Chapter one

Tyler was sitting in his room waiting for his phone to make that little ping sound he set his text tone too. As soon as he heard it he scrambled to get his phone off his charger

Jishwa❤: hey tyler how are you feeling?
Tyjo❤: okay. what about you?
Jishwa❤: im alright.
Tyjo❤: thats good. can we go to the river today?
Jishwa❤: of course, meet you there in 10?
Tyjo❤: alright.

Tyler took his phone and stumbled down the stairs, tripping on a shoe that was at the bottom. Agh he grunted as he grabbed his coat and slip his white and black vans on. He didn't bother looking for his mom so he wrote a note instead

Im going to hangout with Josh. I'll be back before 6 ❤

He left it on the table and locked the door behind him as he left. He hasn't seen Josh for a whole week since he was out of town to see family. He was trying to count the days he's know Josh for but he gave up at 268 since he was at the entrance to the woods. He seen Josh's car in the distance so he headed to the river.

He seen bright yellow so it must be Josh since he had yellow hair. He was kinda of nervous but he always felt that way around Josh.

"Hey Josh" he choked out, trying not to startle him but he failed. Josh jumped alittle and turned around. He smiled once he seen it was Tyler and gestured him to come sit by him.

"Hi Tyler. you look well rested today" he smiled. When he smiled his nose scrunched up and his eyes did something similar. Tyler leaned his head on Joshs shoulder letting out a small sigh

"Yeah it gets pretty lonely when your bestfriends gone. but how was your trip?"

"It was good. I missed you though." he smiled down at Tyler and Tyler smiled back. Josh was alittle taller than Tyler because he was 17 and Tyler was 15. But age wasn't really a problem. Tyler's mom wasn't really accepting of it but whatever made Tyler happy.

"So did you make any new music while I was away?" Josh asked still smiling at Tyler.

"Sorta. It's not alot but I have a few lines i-i-if you wanna hear" Tyler ran his hand through his hair and positioned his head from Joshs shoulder to his left leg.

"Of course Tyler, you have a beautiful voice" Josh thought everything about Tyler was beautiful.

"Okay.." he sat up and cleared his throat and looked down. He took a breath and sung words that gave Josh chills

"I just wanna stay in the sun where I find I know it's hard sometimes, pieces of peace in the sun's peace of mind" Tyler took a breath looking over to Josh with tears filling his eyes. Josh smiled a sad smile and Tyler continued.

"I know it's hard sometimes
Yeah, I think about the end just way too much
But it's fun to fantasize" He finished and looked to Josh who was clearly lost in his thoughts.

"That was beautiful Tyler. I really love your lyrics and voice." Tyler smiled and put his head back on Joshs leg. Josh ran his fingers through Tyler's fluffy hair and Tyler shut his eyes and smiled thinking Josh wasn't looking. He stared at the smaller boy and continued to run his hands though his hair. It was a comfortable silence then Josh spoke up

"I never wanna lose you Tyler. ever. you make me happy.." he trailed off before he started rambling on about how much he appreciated his bestfriend

"You make me happy too joshy" Tyler said as he poked Joshs nose. His gesture got a small chuckle from the older boy.

They sat there for hours in silence until it was 5:31pm.

"Do you want a ride home?" He asked Tyler as the trugged their way out of the woods.

"Sure"

Both the boys got into the car and Josh started the engine. He knew his younger friend hated going home. He put his hand on Tyler's knee as he drove. He felt Tyler's hand go on top of his. He smiled to himself and pulled into his friends driveway. The both got out of the car and Josh walked him to his door.

"Bye jo-" He was cut off by Joshs tight embrace. He didn't mind, in fact, he loved his hugs. They made him feel safe. Soon he walked down the stairs and got into his car watching the fluffy haired boy go inside.

Soon a sudden sadness waved over him as he realized half way to his own home, he didn't tell Tyler he loved him like he always did. Josh pulled over and pulled up his contact Tyjo❤ he typed pretty quickly.

Jishwa❤: I love you
Delivered 6:32pm

He started his car and drove the rest of the way home in silence.

Tyler was pacing around his room then remembered he didn't reply to Josh

Jishwa❤: I love you

Tyjo❤: I will, goodnight, love you too❣❣

But Tyler lied. There was no way he was sleeping tonight. He decided to try finishing his song.

"Im never gonna think of a title or course for this" Tyler though out loud. He sighed in frustration.

"I miss joshhhh" Tyler sighed again.

Hey tyler.

"Oh my god." Tyler almost screamed.

The first thing Tyler thought of was to call Josh.

"Tyler"

"Josh he's back I don't know what to do"

"I'm on my way."

Tyler got his jacket and shoes on and quietly slipped out the door. He breathed in the chilled air and soon seen Josh's car in the distance. Tyler stood there, eyes and cheeks stained with tears and his hood up. Tyler nearly sprinted to the car and got in. He looked at Josh and he stared back.

"Tyler" He said as he wiped his bestfriends eyes with his hoodie sleeve. "Im here it's okay" Josh put his hand on Tyler thigh as he pulled out of the driveway and headed to his own house.

Josh lived in an apartment way to big for him. But josh didn't mind. When they got to Josh's apartment he led Tyler inside and to his bed. He laid Tyler down and sat at the edge of the bed. "Get some sleep tyguy" Tyler smiled a small, sad smile and said almost above a whisper "okay jishwa." Josh leaned over and kissed his younger friends forehead. He didn't realize what he did till after he did it. He hoped Tyler brushed it off. But tyler, did not
