My Last Goodbye

I was playing on the floor,
Then i heard someone crying on the door.
I was suddened by the tone,
So i quickly opened the door.

That was the first time i saw you,
You were badly injured and beaten.
I was so worried about you, so i called my family to settle your condition.

I was completely stunned,
When i gaze at your perfect eyes.
It was more colorful than the vibrant color of the sun.
You were so small,
That I almost bumped you sometime.

Years have passed,
You've grown bigger.
You've been a good boy,
Very good as i've expected.

You used to wake me up when the sun comes up.
You used to comfort me when i am feeling down.
You even used to protect me from the shadows that scares me away.

When i woke up,
And noticed that you didn't wake me up.
So i went outside and saw you,
You were so strange because you were so still and quiet.
Then i noticed that you're shivering to death.
That was the last time i saw you, dying.

I wished that i can spend more precious moments with you.
I wished that i can see your adorable face once more.
I wished that i can play catch with you again.
