Finding your true love isn't easy at all. You never know when the right time will come, this short moment which will change your whole live. This tiny moment may even pass by without you realizing how important and meaningful it is. A passing second like a light spring breeze blowing through your hair, when you aren't expecting anything. The one fated to be by your side appears right in front of you. Rushing by he isn't able to notice my sister. His brothers are waiting for him. The concert has to start soon. He pushes the next door to disappear as fast as he appeared leaving a heart-warming smirk behind. Wait! Concert? Whose concert is this? Why is my sister backstage? Hope and me are standing by her side. Looking at each other nervously and excited at the same time. We were here the day before. We already saw them live. But today is different. We are backstage, not understanding what is happening to us. Everything feels so unreal. It has to be a dream. A really good one, but still a dream. First things first. Let's reconsider how the three of us ended up at this point.
We all met for the first time the day before yesterday at the airport in Newark. Our first meeting made me feel so many emotions at a time. Will they like me? Or run away as soon as they see me? OK, to be fair, I met Hope some hours before in Düsseldorf, Germany while we were changing for our plane to Newark. I like her a lot. We will be good friends in the future. I'm feeling it. Yes, we both are from Germany and came all the way here to see our beloved boys. We had to wait quite some time for Caro to arrive as her flight was delayed due to heavy winds. Finally it's around 8pm. My excitement is rising every second that our meeting is coming nearer. Every time the automatic door opens my heart stops for a moment and starts beating even faster afterward. Oh my god, I see her. I know it's her. I can feel it. She is so beautiful. Just as I imagined her to be. My twin sister, finally I can wrap my arms around her, giving her a long and intense hug. I'll never let her go again although she is trying to hide from us. She is such a cute, shy girl. I feel like I know these two girls for ages, although only three months passed since we found each other.
Fate brought us together in the middle of December. We started as a small project to spread some love to idols for Christmas. But after these two weeks we weren't able to separate anymore. Of course we never met before and didn't really know each other at that point but still there was a strange at the same time strong connection between us. A hard and tearful time was ahead of us. We never expected there to be so much hate and so many obstacles to overcome. I told myself and the girls it's worth fighting for our goals. It has to be because it is that hard. Things that are worth your blood, sweat and tears are never easy to achieve. I was right. Not even three months passed as Korean news and other sites noticed our recent supporting project. People were starting to talk about us and taking us seriously. Now we started to dream high. We would do everything what is needed to achieve our goals and make our boys even more popular in Europe and the world.
Now we have March and spring is starting. The sun is warming our skins as we are waiting outside the concert hall for the doors to be opened. Still can't believe I'm here in Newark and will be able to see these seven amazingly talented boys. They start selling merchandise and of course we buy them. Light sticks and some other stuff, as giveaways, for projects and members, to thank them for all their hard work so far and everything we will be doing in the future. We all bought a lot of stuff wishing for a pair of additional hands. All around the area were so many fans happily chatting and joking while waiting. It's such a great mood. Everyone is so niece. We got to know some new friends and supporters. In our field of work you take all the help you can get. You never know when and how they may come in handy.
A suddenly starting commotion by the doors made us remember why we actually came here. Finally the doors were opened and we got a little bit nearer to our Idols. Before entering the concert hall we decided to look at our poster for the last time. It came out really beautiful. Hopefully they will see and read what is written on it in Hangul.
'You won't come to Europe, so we came to pick you up!'
I know it's blatantly and kind of arrogant but you won't achieve anything by being niece all day. I noticed the security guards murmuring to each other as they saw our poster and I got afraid they would take it away but nothing happened and they let us pass by entering the hall. The concert was amazing. It went by so fast, too fast, to be exact. The atmosphere was so great throughout the whole performance. I never experienced something like this before and I went to a lot of concerts in my live. Leaving the hall I noticed the guards again. I had the strange feeling they were pointing in our direction while murmuring. God bless my imagination. It's running wild again.
We left the hall and went back to our apartment. In a rush of adrenaline we talked about everything we saw. The little sweet projects and fan chants the beautiful rainbow we created with our ARMY Bombs and what may us await tomorrow. The last three hours passed as three minutes. These seven boys occupied all our attention with their performances and aura. You wouldn't see anything what was happening right and left preparing the next stages. The only other artist making me feel this way was P!nk. Singing while doing all this acrobatic things must be really hard and still her voice is beautiful and powerful. It's the same with them. Dancing and singing for three hours without a break is a really exhausting thing. If this isn't hard enough they do quite hard and complicated choreographies. Their solo stages were breath taking. Starting from the first one performed by the youngest, seeing him now you would never imagine he wasn't considered as a member because of lacking dancing skills and finishing with a beautiful song dedicated to 'MAMA'. They performed all songs from 'Wings' and some older ones including their very first singles.
I'm kind of proud of myself every time we arrive at the spot we wanted to without one of them getting lost. They tend to lose their selves, both of them, it's the same with me forgetting things the moment you tell me. Don't know how I agreed to make this trip knowing their personalities. But crazy as we are the decision to meet in Newark was made spontaneously when I already went to bed. Never make important decisions when you are already lying in bed and your brain started to rest before your body. Nevertheless I'm really happy this days and I know that this trip started everything else we experienced in our future. A future we kind of imagined but never thought it may become our future. After all, our lives changed 180 degrees. Today no one is living the way she was. So much changed in such a short amount of time. If someone had have told me about this years ago I would have called a doctor. It is scary how a short moment a quick and spontaneous decision can change everything. Never hesitate, always dream high. The only one stopping you from making that dream come true is yourself! Standing by the side-line hesitating and thinking about what if...
Finally we arrived back at our apartment. Of course the first thing we did was sharing pictures and videos with our girls who were already waiting for us patiently. We didn't realize how exhausted we actually were and fell asleep soon. Waking up late our day started in a rush. The second concert would start in some hours. We arrived at the venue pretty late that day. All the merchandise was already sold. Yesterday our seats were pretty far in the back. Today there will be an actual chance for them to see our banner. Looking for our section and seats some of the guards approached us. Telling us to follow them. Did we do something wrong? They brought us far away from all the other fans. We were told to wait here and don't even think about going anywhere. Oh my god! One of the band members was running by. We were so shocked. Left behind with no words to say he disappeared behind the next door only leaving a heart-warming smirk behind. It was almost 8pm as a staff member approached us. She apologised for the long time we had to wait and told us we were allowed to first watch the concert but had to come back as soon as it will be finished. Feelings of relive and anxiety came up. We enjoyed the performance not thinking about anything, but as soon as it was over those mixed feeling from before came back. We hurried back to where the staff member told us to wait. She was already standing there guiding us to a nearby room with two big black sofas and a small table in front of them. Some minutes passed by as suddenly someone was knocking at the door to let us know they will enter. We all got a little heart attack and stopped breathing for a moment. The person standing in front of us was the man who made our boys big. What the hell did we do to be able to meet him?
