Anai's POV
I was running late. Super late, I needed to get to the meeting in less than 10 minutes.
I was running as fast as my short legs would take me. Since I was so determined to get to my destination I wasn't paying attention.
I slammed into someone as I was running, we fell hard as we both fell to the ground.
"Fucking shit. Are you okay?" I stared down at the guy I was on top of.
"Uh yeah. Sorry I was on my phone."
"It's okay it's my fault. Well gotta go bye! Again sorry!!"
I got up and ran for it.
I made it to the meeting just in time.
~1 hour later~
Finally I can go home. This internship was the best thing going for me this summer.
"Anai!" I stopped in my tracks.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Come here please."
I walked over to my boss. I work for a record label.
"Yes Mrs. Price?"
"I need you to show one our newest member of the label around."
"Okay. When do I meet them?"
"Soon, also you'll be staying with them to make sure all goes well. So pack your things."
I looked at her in shock. I just nodded and stood waiting with her.
"William there you are!!"
I turned and looked at the guy that was approaching us. Holy shit, that's the guy I ran over!
"Hello Mrs. Price, nice meeting you." His Australian accent strong and noticable.
"This is Anai, my intern. She will be showing you around and staying with you until we feel like you're ready to be on your own."
He looked at me and laughed , I think he remembers who I am.
"Shall we go then Anai?" I nodded and followed him.
We got to his car and his driver drove him to where I was staying.
"How old are you Anai?" I looked at William.
"I'm 19, but going.to be 20 in 14 days."
"That's cool. How long have you been working with Mrs. Price?"
"Since the beginning of the summer."
He nodded and looked out the window.
"How old are you Will? If I can call you that?"
"Yeah you can it's no problem. I'm 24."
"So you're a singer?" He laughed and nodded his head.
"That's awesome! I sing too but it's not good.."
"We should sing together sometime."
"Uh yeah sure..."
We arrived at my place and I got out and grabbed all my things. I made sure I got everything and headed down to the car.
"Whew. Okay let's go I'm tired asf."
We drove off and I could feel my eyelids getting heavy. Before I knew it I had fallen asleep.
"Anai." I felt something touch my face.
"Hey wake up we're here."
"Hmm." I heard him laugh and then shake me.
"I'm up!" I sat up and stared into Will's eyes.
"Hey sleeping beauty. Let's go."
He grabbed my hand and pulled out of the car.
"Where are we?"
"My room." I nodded as I admired it.
"Wow."
We walked inside and he gave me a tour.
"This is where we'll be sleeping.... I thought there was two beds?"
I shrugged. "I don't know. I just got told about this today."
"Javi! Can I speak to someone about the sleeping arrangements?"
"Yeah sure."
"I'm tired can I sleep on the bed for now? You can sleep with me if you want I don't mind."
"Uh alright..."
"Javi! We'll talk to them tomorrow."
"Alright goodnight guys."
"Night." We said in unison.
"Sweet dreams."
