The Song of Lovers

When he played the first few seconds of the song, Ruby instantly knew that it was her song, and ran towards the room as fast as possible.

Y/N, you remembered​ our song, not even my boyfriend can remember my dad's name. Where are you, I want to sing it with you.

"She said, I'm sad, somehow without any words".

"I just, stood their, searching for an answer

Maybe I should just stop, she seems happy with him...I have failed my promise.

The students slow dance to the song, Ruby finally managed to get to the room to see Y/N singing to the song.

"Why do, my words, always lose their meaning".

"There is such a rift between them".

Y/N turns around to see Ruby singing to the song. He smiled and turned back to play the song. Both of them began singing along to the song, a duet that everyone can hear.

"He said, I can't, really seem to read you".

"I just, stood their, never knew what I should do".

Both of their hands held together under the piano. Causing Ruby to turn red as her hair and dress.

"When this world is no more, the moon is all we'll see".

"All ask you to fly away with me, until all the stars fall down, they empty from the sky. But I don't mind".

Everyone applauded​ to me and Ruby, even some of them threw flowers and roses at us.

Music came back on, I wanted to sit down until Ruby gripped my hand, refusing to let me go.

"Please don't go, I want to dance with you".

Another song came on, and it was a song of a different style.... Spanish.
Y/N identified this music as bachata. A dance you can dance with a partner.

"I don't know how to dance to this".

"Let me show you then".

He twirls her around and wrapped his arm around her. Following to the beat, he moves around with her. Everyone​ crowded around and watched them, applauding and whistling.

"Since when did Y/N learn how to dance like that?".

"He told us that he learned it back home, a family friend taught him to dance. He even taught him to do some dance that was named after some sauce"

"Salsa?".

"Yes, I think?".

After several minutes, Ruby fell into Y/N and refused to let go. She decided that they needed to be alone, and took him to the balcony outside.

Both of them look down below the town. How pretty it looks at night with all the lights.

"It looks pretty out here".

"It does".

"You okay Rubes".

"There was something I wanted to ask you".

"Why didn't you kiss me back home, and why didn't kiss me back in the limo".

Y/N stood there silent for several seconds before finally giving an answer.

"I didn't want to ruin our friendship, your were my best friend. Also, I was in shock that my dream girl kissed me".

"Wait... I'm your dream girl?".

"Yeah".

She smiled and held Y/N from behind.

"But now your boyfriend is in my way".

He then noticed something on her face, some of her makeup washed away from the sweat and revealed.....A bruise.

He grabbed her and smeared the makeup off, seeing a large bad bruise on her cheek.

"Who did this".

She didn't answer, only look down in fear.

"Was it your boyfriend, tell me now!".

She nodded yes, and Y/N hugged her, and took off his jacket.

He snapped

"No, it's okay!".

"He's getting his ass kicked tonight!".

His team, Team JNPR and Team WBY tried to stop him, but he literally threw Jaune out of the way and stormed to the dorms.
