I've never fallen in love

I've never felt butterflies in my stomach

When I'm near that special someone

Because I've never had anyone

Who have been close enough to me

I've heard love is beautiful

I've heard love brings you joy,

That it gives you strength,

That it makes you selfless

But I've also heard how it'd feel

If you lost that love,

If your love is not reciprocated,

How it'd feel if your heart is broken

I want to be happy

I want to be strong

But I'm too scared to love

Because I'm scared of heartbreak
