It had started years ago when the young woman was an infant during the time when the Gypsies were welcomed in (but felt unwelcomed). The infant was being carried by her mother that was sitting on the horse while her father was holding onto the reign of the horse. The night sky hid them well but the light of the moon made it a bit difficult to hide in the shadows in certain areas. They crossed the bridge before an arrow flew through the darkness of the night. The father blocked the arrow from hitting the mother and the baby. Looking over, the parents saw that the Minister was on a horse, feet away from the three with many guards behind him. The mother quickly got off the horse to stay by the father's side, but he only motioned for her to run.

"What do you have in your arms, Gypsy!?" Finitevus demanded, but growled as she hasn't responded. As much as she hated leaving her love behind, she obeyed and ran through an alley before hearing the clopping of hooves following her.

She continued to run away and didn't hear the clop of hooves following after she had jumped down from a wall towards another alley before her body collided on the ground but landed on her back so the baby wouldn't get hurt. Looking around, her eyes landed on an old wooden crate and gently set her baby in it, relieved washing over her when she saw it was in good condition and empty. She then proceeds to run as one thought was running through her head.

I'll be back for you, little one.

She then spotted the cathedral up ahead and started to bang on the doors after climbing the stairs.

"Sanctuary! Please, give Sanctuary!" she cried before she froze on her spot and fell down to her knees from a sharp pain on her shoulder blade. A guard then walked up towards her with a bow in hand after he had shot the arrow to her.

"Fool!" roared the minister. The guard jumped at his voice as Finitevus walked up towards him on his horse.

"The archdeacon will have our heads for this..." he muttered before glaring at the guard. As if on cue, the archdeacon, an elderly man with white hair and ageing eyes that's a fading blue as he saw the dead Gypsy woman and looked at the two with wide eyes.

"What have you done!?" he cried as he gently held her up. "You have spilt blood on the cathedral's steps!"

"She ran, I pursued." replied the minister. The archdeacon only glared and picked the woman up, despite of the blood, knowing that no matter how much he talked to the minister and his friend, he will not listen to his words.

"Kyrie Eleison..." the archdeacon muttered before heading back inside. Finitevus looked at the guard blankly before turning his horse around and walked towards his home. He then heard a cry of an infant through the alley and followed until he spotted the infant girl lying in a wooden crate.

"A baby?" he muttered to himself before getting off his horse and lifted the child into his arms. He saw the infant was a light tanned female with brown hair and red bangs as her eyes open a few times during her discomfort of the cold night, revealing purple irises. His eyes then landed on a round medallion obviously too big for her around her neck and growled lowly at the symbol of an engraved sun under a crescent moon and a star inside the moon. He lifted himself up on his horse with the baby and held her off by the blanket, planning to drop her to the ground, before an idea popped into his head. Looking down at the child, he chuckled lowly.

"Maybe this creature may yet prove one day to be of use to me." he said before riding off into the night to his home, carrying the child in his arms as he thought about how she could be useful to him in the future.
