Chapter 2 Foul

In the morning, David comes to Regina's house. "Morning, feel better after sleeping?" Hook asks, standing in the yard as Molly is playing around. "Yes, but I need help," David said. "Uh Ok, I have the little one," Hook points at Molly climbing on the tree. "I saw my father's ghost," David said. "Are you sure about that?" Hook asks, "Yes I got plenty of sleep, but he was standing right there, looking at me," David said. "This is exactly why the Evil Queen gave you that blasted coin," Hook said. "I gave up on him, my father was a weak man but he was still my father and he deserves Justice, now will you help me?" David asks, "Perhaps Emma would be more suited, she's the sheriff and has magic, and is the savior," Hook suggests. "No, I don't want to worry her, or Snow, I may have to do something they won't approve of," David said. "And you think I would," Hook sighs. "You're a pirate, come on, you're what I need," David said. "Ok," Hook nods begrudgingly. "Great, I have an idea, come on," David said. "Well, Molly," Hook says and she jumps over to him.

"Can I come Daddy?" Molly asks, "Probably be best she doesn't," David suggests, "Uhh, Regina is spending the day with Henry, I have to take her with me," Hook asks, "This isn't really a mission for a ten year old," David says quietly. "However," David looks at her, "She knows magic," David said. Hook looks at him curiously, "Molly can you keep a secret?" David asks, "Yes! Daddy just told me one!" Molly gets excited, "Shh," Hook looks at her. Molly smiles and puts her finger to her mouth, "Shh," she smiles.

"Molly you want to help us solve something?" David asks, "Oh like a puzzle?" Molly asks cutely. "Yeah," David said. "Mate, all due respect, she's a child," Hook said. "Right, but she can still be helpful," David said. "Please Daddy? I won't tell, just like I won't tell Mommy abou---" Hook covers her mouth, "Right, that," Molly winks cutely at him.

"Where are we going?" Hook asks, "Regina's vault of course, magic," David said. "Woah you want to steal from Regina's vault?" Hook asks. "Yes, we can get a spell book, some potions and do something," David said. "You want to cast a spell?" Hook asks, "Yes, what are you afraid of?" David asks, "I'm not afraid, just, I'm trying to do the right thing, and you want to steal from my true love, and have my daughter do it?" Hook asks.

"The one time I need you to be a pirate, and you get cold feet," David says. "Come on Molly can open her vault," David said. "You want my child to steal? How am I supposed to explain why that's ok?" Hook asks, "Because it's for a good reason, and you can explain it to her and Regina later," David said. Hook sighs.

"We're at Mommy's vault," Molly observes, "Right, can you open it?" David asks, "Why not ask Mommy?" Molly asks, "Because love it's a surprise," Hook lies, "Like the other one?" Molly winks at him, "Uhh yes, can you open it?" He asks. "Ok," Molly waves her hands and opens Regina's vault. "Great, you guys be the look out," David heads inside.

Hook and Molly wait outside as David goes into the vault. "Daddy what are we doing?" Molly asks. "Listen love, uhh, sometimes, we have to do things to find people that maybe aren't the best way, and we are going to do magic to find out what happened to someone close to David," Hook explained.

"Got it, ok, let's go," David comes out. They head to the loft. Set up are beakers and small flames. "Ok, according to the spell should show us where he was when he died with that coin," David said. "Says turn counter clockwise, do you think they mean the beaker or we have to turn?" David asks. "Better to be safe," Hook says.

Slowly the men turn around counter clockwise, David holding the beaker. Molly bursts into giggles. "What?" Hook asks, "You didn't have to turn," Molly laughs. "There it goes," David looks at the smoking beaker. The three gag, at the smell, "ugh," Hook groans, "Now," he unfolds the map and David places the coin on it. It moves on it's own towards an island.

"I know this island, had dealings with Neverland, never been myself," Hook says. "Terrible dark place it is, it's called pleasure Island," Hook says.

They go to August, Molly wanders around looking at things in August's garage. "Yeah this was definitely the coin, I last saw him, with the boy," August says. "He was trying to get my brother, James," David said. "Yes and he stone cold sober," August smiles. "He was trying to get my family back," David smiles. "Few years ago, I took some pages out of Henry's book. Pleasure Island was not something of my story I was proud of, but I can see if I can find them, see if there's more about your father," August said. "Thanks," David said.

"Daddy can I stay here with August to look at the toys?" Molly asks, "I don't mind having her a bit," August says. "That's a good idea," David says, "Sure love," Hook nods and leaves with David. "I know who killed him, he's still alive and I know where to find him," David said, Hook sighs, "You don't want me to go after him," David said. "Mate, I just think how is that going to prove anything? August just told you what you wanted to know," Hook said.

David doesn't say a word and handcuffs Hook's right hand to a bike rack. Not long later Molly shows up, "What did you do?" Molly asks, "Molly," Hook sighs, "Come on, your magic, let me out," He says. "Hmmm," Molly smirks cutely at him, "No no, this is not a game, let me out," he says firmly. "You're stuck," Molly giggles, "Molly Jones, if you don't let me out, I'll use my hook to do it, and then you won't sit down for a week," he warns. Molly sighs, "Can I least get a cupcake if I let you out?" Molly asks, Hook sighs, "Fine, now!" He scolds.

Molly waves her hand and releases him, Hook quickly rushes towards the Psych ward, "You go get a cupcake," Hook hands Molly money to go do it, "Ow," and smacks her behind once.

Hook gets inside, and stops David, "You take this from me I'll never forgive you!" David yells holding the blade to Killian, "Yes he killed your father, think about him, he wanted you to look you in the eye," Hook says. "What if Gideon comes back stronger and kills Emma? What if I can never be with Snow again? What if being Prince Charming isn't enough!?" David asks.

David kneels in tears, Hook kneels in front of him, and hugs him on his shoulder. That night, Hook heading back to Regina's, August pulls up on his motor bike. "Hey glad I caught you," August says. "I found the part of my story from the book, thought David would like to have them for himself," August says handing them to Hook. "Thanks," Hook nods and August rides off.

Opening the pages, Hook sees a familiar face, someone he has seen before, someone he has Killed, David's father.

Regina comes outside, "There you are, any reason Molly is hyped up on sugar? She also mentioned you being handcuffed to a bike rack?" Regina asks, "Uhh, it was a game, I was a bit spoiling of her today," He chuckles, "Ok, well hopefully we can get her to eat dinner, and get her to bed early," Regina smiles. "Sounds good, I'll be in in a minute," He smiles and gently kisses her.
