The Truth

Chapter 1

Victor's Point of View

      I'm  Victor. I'm just an ordinary kid. I just had my birthday yesterday. Now I'm  12. I live with my mom cause I never get to see my dad. My mom never told me why, but I do have a little brother. The only bad thing is he is only 5. I'm just glad I have my friends Dextor and Savanah. They're the only friends I have. Every other kid bullies me cause I'm a nerd and I'm small. The good thing is we are going on a field trip, and since I'm a really good student they let me sit with two other kids in one seat on the bus.(Which is three in total) So of course I always pick Savanah and Dextor. And we are going on a field trip to a really old museum, so we get split up in groups of three. The reason I'm so excited is I shouldn't get bullied. I was so excited I slept in too late. School starts at 7:55, and it is 7:50! My mom has to leave for work and take my brother in the morning to preschool, so I have to get ready on my own in the morning. If I miss the trip I'm going to be so upset, so I put on some cloths, did my hair, skipped breakfast, and ran out the door. I had to walk to school, so I was late. I caught the bus for the trip as it was about to leave. Of course Savanah had something to say." Where have you been", she said under her breathe." I was just a little late". "A little late," she said sarcastically. "You almost missed the trip". Then Dextor came into the conversation." Yeah dude you almost missed the trip, and if you wouldn't have made it you would have left me alone with Savanah". If you did that I would have been so bored. "Hey," said Savanah. "I'm just joking Savanah,"said Dextor. After a long trip we got to the museum. As soon as I walked in I felt something I don't know how to describe. Then I saw weird lines on the ground that looked like a secret passage or something. Something in my head told me I had to touch the ground and find the truth. I wondered what truth. Then I thought the truth about my dad so I had do it, but I wanted my friends to do it with me at the same time. We all did it, and something strange happened. The floor opened beneath our feet, and we fell into a black swirling hole. Then I thought we were so dead,but we fell in some water, and everything was looking the same,but then we reached land.
