You could feel your eyes sting as you walked away from Ben with Nathan in your arms and Jake by your side. It was barely the afternoon and there wasn't much you could do that so you decided to just have this day for your son.

Jake accompanied you and Nathan to the kids section and watched as Nate made new friends as you sat in a chair. Solemnly you thought about the argument you had with Ben.

"Babe are you okay?" Jake's hand rubbed the back of your palm. You sheepishly smiled at him, "Yeah, lately I haven't been the best girlfriend." Jake pulled up on your feet and sat you on his leg, "You are perfect [Y/n], beyond the best."

You gently kissed his forehead at his sweet words. There was a moment of silence between the both of you. "There's thing I've been meaning to mention to you but I don't know if you'll like the idea," Jake broke the peaceful silence.

You paid your full attention to him encouraging him to go on. "There's this nanny program on the ship where we could leave Nathan with a nanny that is best suitable for him and we could have dinner by ourselves. I didn't want to mention this earlier because I know you don't like leaving Nate with--"

"--Let's do it," you said cutting him off. Jake opened his eyes in amusement, "Really?" You nodded your head, "As much as I hate having my son away from me, yes. We should have a night to ourselves, why not our last night on here. We'll spend the whole day doing what he wants then we'll go out to dinner," you gazed over at your son who was playing with a fountain.

You never like the idea of leaving your son with someone you barely know. It hurt you as you walked away from the nanny center where you left your son at. He didn't cry, he actually seemed to have liked this new peculiar place, but you as a mother felt a pain.

Jake saw your muscles tense as you walked away from the place, "It's going to be alright honey. They have everything under control. They have our numbers in case of any emergency." Jake grabbed you by the hand and walked you to the restaurant he reserved a table at.

It was a new edition to the cruise, the restaurant wasn't there last time you were there. The theme was a mixture of classy, but not so fancy, food with a casual environment. There were garment rules to be followed so you wore a dress Jake had bought for you not long before you went on the cruise. Jake wore slacks and a button up shirt.

Your heels clanked as you walked to your table. You were seated at the balcony of the restaurant with the most elegant view of the ocean and the city lights of Miami.

The service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. You and Jake shared an appetizer and dessert. You each grabbed your own 8 ounce steak with a petite side.

All night Jake never stopped treating you. He knew you missed your son but he wanted to spend some more time with you, just the two of you. The stars illuminated the black sky as you and Jake paced the deck.

"I would buy you a million stars if I could," he tenderly whispered. You looked into his dilated eyes and hesitated on asking the question, "Do you ever wondered what would have happened if we didn't pump into each other?"

"Never, I can't imagine myself not meeting the most wonderful girl of all," he pecked your nose. You continued to pace the deck allowing the salty breeze of the ocean spray you and Jake.

Benedict wasn't far from where you were. He sat on a bench with Tom looking out into the night sky thinking of his grave mistake. Not you, but his cocky words. "I love her Tom, I fucked up. I don't know what I'll do if I lose her again. I don't know what will happen to me if I can't see my son ever again. I'll be lost," he took a sip from the beer pitcher he had.
