*He's probably just shy and awkward... like I am.* she thought.

Y/n gave him an ok look, and he proceeded to pick her up and carry her to his apartment. It wasn't a long walk, he was really close to y/n's. The man would glance at her every once in a while, probably just checking her knee out or something. Y/n's heart was pounding, but not like the "omg this is a romantic moment" No. this was different, yet confusing. That feeling was the only feeling she felt until she heard the sound of a door creeping open.

At his apartment, he carried her to the bathroom. The place was a little messy, but still kept its shape. He set her down and went to grab a towel. Y/n was still confused. How did she end up here? And why was there a pink guy? Was there more of him? That thought disappeared when the man came back and then soaked her knee with the warm rag.

"Oh, the names Frank by the way," he smirked slightly. "I-I should have said that earlier. "

Patting the rag, Frank then got out some bandages and wrapped y/n's knee with it.

"Ok, done!"

Then there was silence. An awkward silence. Y/n messes with her pant leg, while Frank just kneels there in silence. Frantically looking around, Frank then breaks the silence.

"You know, I never really had a girl in my place before. I never really talked to one." He says with a crackly voice.

You look at him. His breathing wasn't stable and his cheeks were dusted pink. He has never talked to anyone? Like this?

"You didn't have to bring me here. I could've just went back home." Y/n stutters. Her sentence sounded stern and broad at the point, but yet, her voice was as soft as clouds. Frank shakes his head a little. He exhales roughly.

"Um. Yeah. Right. Er... I fucked up, didn't I?!" Frank looked down. He looked embarrassed.

Y/n chuckled softly, but inaudibly. Frank then looked up at her, his brown savoring into her like wild fire.

"I-I just wanted to talk to you, I g-guess." He snickered slightly.

Y/n was surprised. She didn't know what to say. And if you knew her, she always has something on her mind, but in this case, she was empty.

*Why would someone like him talk to you.*
She thought.

Well, Frank did help her with her injured knee, and scared that pink demon away, he was nice and very generous to her, and he was kinda hot... he looked nice. Frank was just a genuine type of guy from y/n's point of view.

"I would see you cleaning of your porch or having a drink out there. I've really wanted to talk to you, but I got all these fuckers to worry about," He pointed towards the door. "And I just never knew what it's like to talk to someone like you."

Y/n was blushing at this point. She's never heard anyone saying they want to talk to them. Back then, she was the shy girl of any group. She talked, but that was rare for her back then. She was cut off by his divine of a voice.

"I never really talk to girls, cause they always think that I'm the worst thing to be on this shit hole we call earth," His eyes swell slightly. "I just live a normal life like everyone else. They just think I'm so different," He trembles in his words. " I'm just someone that so many things to deal with, like everybody else. I just don't think I'm... good enough."

Franks eyes began to water. His slightly chapped lips shake. Hearing this makes y/n want to cry. Frank puts his hand on his forehead and breathes heavily. He's been through so much, just from hearing that one statement. "Feeling that you're not good enough." This dreaded feeling changes everything y/n thought of Frank. But she listened. Frank glanced at her. His eyes lit up slightly. Through his puffy eyes, he sees a woman, with a bad knee and a fixed look on him, understanding what he said.

Y/n hugs him. Hugs him as tight and as lovingly as she can, shaking in the process. This made her blush, yes, but she knew what she had to do. She started to feel something warm running down her cheek. Tears.

"You've been through what seems to be so much. All that hatred and sadness. But I'm here for you if you need anything, down a couple apartments away from here." she points and makes an imaginary line down from where the buildings may be. "Come over anytime and we'll talk about anything you need to vent about,  thick or thin, I'm here to listen, even if you're just rambling bullshit." She pulls back and smiles softly.

Frank's eyes gazed at hers in awe. Hearing what she said was like a glimmering waterfall. He began to tear up again, putting his head down while mumbling to himself quietly.

He suddenly felt something on his cheek. Tears. No. He felt a small, warm hand. He opened his eyes slightly and saw y/n tearing up as well. She was wiping the tears off of his face. She smiled. Frank smiled slightly, looking up at her fully. He looked down in embarrassment, blushing. Y/n did too. She sniffles and trembled.

Frank looked up at her. As she wiped a tear from her face, he carefully picked her chin up, his thumb sliding softly. He looked at her lips then back to her eyes. He straightens his shoulders and leans in slowly. Getting closer and closer to her lips. Soon, they connected. Their lips perfectly fitted onto one another. Frank looked at her, her eyes closed. He then shut his eyes, and wrapped his hand around her back. Y/n's delicate fingers grazed his cheek.

Frank pulled away and looked at her again. Her eyes now opening, shocked and surprised. She looked down in embarrassment, chuckling slightly. Y/n looked back up and grinned. Frank pressed his forehead onto hers, feeling the wariness of her breath. He gave her a soft smile with one last tear going down his face.

"Thank you." Frank says softly
