This story doesn't start with once upon a time, no this isn't some fairytale,  this is the story of a girl that fought her inner demons and came out on top, a story of a girl who changed the life of others but was drowning herself, waiting for the print that neve came until she realised that all she needed was to believe she could and she'd conquer the world. It might sound all adventurous and brave but it really isn't, it's a story that both male and female can relate to. It's small yet powerful; this is how she found "The Fire Inside".
She woke up like normally and did her daily routine; bathe, brush her teeth, dress, comb hair, eat, head out to classes. She always has that beautiful smile that could brighten up your darkest of days, she's always kind yet her life's a mess. She'd give anything to start
Over her life, to see something worthwhile in the mirror. She doesn't know how much she's influenced those around her. She's touched so many lives with her laugh, she's helped so many others from drowning but can't help herself. She's a hopeless romantic that wishes one day her prince will come, reading stories of love and adventure, wishing that could be her life. She doesn't hate her life, but she just wishes she could be more; a little more brave, a little more beautiful, a little more feminine, just a little more. She use to be so much more, but now she's forgotten the beauty she is. Society has dictated that she isn't their perception of beauty and she believes them. She craves for a love she doesn't receive, she looks in the mirror and sees a fire less soul. She wonders when did she lose that fire inside. She struggles with depression and anxiety. She's afraid that she'll be even more unwanted than she is already, so she bottles it up. She always botyles it up. She's lonely most of the time and sends out a silent cry for someone to hear her. One day it all got too much for her, she's depressed, the anxiety eats away at her, she's spiralling down a path, a dark hopeless path. She turns to music, her clutch, it holds her together for a moment. She needs someone to talk to, but she can't bring herself to in fear of being judged. So she starts writing and can't stop. She writes all her fears, all her "flaws", all her thoughts. She feels weightless in writing everything. She reads all she has written and Wonders when did she become this person. When did she become someone so insecure and sad. When did she lose who she once was, someone who looked at everyday as a new adventure,  someone was was a mess but always kind, someone who could smile from her heart, she wasn't perfect but she tried, she was reckless just enough,  who got hurt but learned to tough it out because that's who she was a fighter. The Fire in Her eyes which wasn't there anymore.
When did she become so broken and couldn't ask for help. Life made her so different from what she use to be, and she decided it was a time to start over.
She decided that she didn't want that girl back, no she wanted this girl that she is and that girl she was to create a new her, a stronger girl, a girl she could be proud of. She wanted to look in the mirror and be proud and happy to be who she is. She started by ignoring society, their perception of beauty to her was flawed, she learned to love herself and with that she finally noticed that others loved her the way she was. She took her chance to start over, she changed her ending, she changed her story. She didn't wait for her prince to help her, because it wouldn't mean a thing if he loved her when she couldn love herself. She's not the girl she once was, she looks in the mirror and sees a beautiful mess that she loves, that she adores. She's become someone who truly lives everyday as an adventure, who looks at life with love. She loves the kind, quirky, weird loving person she is on the inside,  the person that helps others without question, the person who loves volunteering and making someone's day brighter. She's realised that looks don't matter, it's who she is on the inside. What really is important is The Fire Inside. And she'll never forget it.
Some may say that the story seems to fairytale like, no one ever turns their life around like that,  no one goes against society's norm as such and tries to just be happy in this world. Well just a little secret between you and I, That girl was me.
