"Ariel!" Attina yelled up the stairs. "You're going to be late on the first day!" Ariel groaned and slid out of bed. Quickly, she pulled on a red mini-skirt and green spaghetti top and hurried downstairs. Arista and Aquata were having a go at each other.

"Why the hell do you always steal my stuff?" Aquata groaned, her thick brown hair covering her face.

"Chill!" Arista shouted. "I just misplaced your swimming bag. That's all."

"That's all!" Aquata almost screamed. "I'm about to leave for college and I NEED my swim stuff NOW! I'll never get on the swim team otherwise."

"Arista, go upstairs and get dressed!" Sebastian, the butler, walked in, wearing his trademark red suit. "Aquata, it's not the end of the world. I'll help you look for your things."

Ariel wolfed down a slice of toast and picked up her bag.

"See you later," Attina said, handing her some lunch money.

"Thanks, Tina." Ariel rushed out of the door and into the street.

Jasmine Agrabah stared out of the window sulkily. She was only 16 and her Dad was trying to marry her off already. Next year, her father would choose her a husband if she hadn't and they would be forced into a marriage. It wasn't like her family needed money- her Dad, Sultan Agrabah, was a rich oil sheik and owned multiple mansions throughout the globe. It was just some stupid family tradition. Most juniors would be stressing about boys and hair and make-up, not marriage!

"Oh, Rajah!" She complained to her cat.

"Miss Agrabah?" Urgh, it was that creepy dude- the one second only to her father in the oil business. "It is time for us to leave."

"Coming, Mr Jafar." Great. She had forgotten that he had taken up teaching at the school. Now she would have no escape.

"Now, Rapunzel, remember what I told you."

"Don't talk to anyone unless a teacher asks you a question."

"And why might that be?"

"Because they all want to exploit me."

"Excellent. I love you, darling."

"I love you too."

"I love you more."

15 year old Rapunzel Gothel had been home schooled until now. Her protective mother ran a art supply store but now, the business had gotten bigger and Mrs Gothel had a lot more work to do. So she had no choice but to send her dear daughter to a public school, no matter what the cost on her poor, fragile, sensitive mind. Mrs Gothel feared many things, but now and again, those fears had to be faced head on, although she did worry a little about how Rapunzel felt.

Rapunzel, on the other hand, thought this was brilliant. She did think Mother's words were a bit harsh but she didn't mind. She was free- free to meet new people, see new places, learn new things. Little did Rapunzel know that she would find some things that would destroy her world forever.
