I write poetry to drown out my sadness. My poetry is the loneliness which hums to me before I go to sleep.
It's the loneliness that taps my shoulder as I wait on friends.
The loneliness that I feel even when I have company.
My poetry is the loneliness that I bury before I go to sleep at night but is laying in bed with me in the morning.
