Dear Me,
So, as you know, today my mom's car got totaled, and let's just say, it wasn't fun. So, we were in the car on our way to school. I was in the front seat reader Hunger Games, (the part where Katniss was yelling at Peeta after he declared his love for her to all of Panem) when my mom quickly put her arm out to protect me. She does this whenever she suddenly hits the brakes suddenly, so naturally I imidently looked up. A car was trying to go across an intersection at an alarming speed. The things I thought in the quick second I had was:

Please let the car be quick so we don't hit it!!!
Maybe mom will avoid the car...

Then, in a blink of an eye, our car hit the side of the other one. I can't remember what exactly happened at that second, but the next thing I knew, we were on the side of the road. The air bags were out, the window was broken (none of the pieces fell though) the car was smashed, and there was dust and weird smelling stuff everywhere. I just realized that I was screaming, and I looked around. First I checked myself. My head wasn't hurt, so I didn't hit the air bag or the door. My hands were fine, but my chest hurt, but that was because the seatbelt locked. Then I realized, my brothers might be hurt. KURT WAS IN THE MOST DANGORUS PART OF THE CAR!!! THEY BOTH COULD BE DEAD! I looked behind me, and I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure that they were screaming too. They weren't seriously hurt though. I looked at my mom, she was panicking too, but seemed fine. After a millisecond, my mom told us to get out of the car. The boys did, and so did my mom, but my door was stuck. I was in shock and was panicking, so I start screaming, "I CANT GET OUT!" I was too afraid to climb to the other side for some reason, but my mom pulled me out of the car. As she did, I noticed coffe everywhere. I couldn't think. What just happened?! Are we fine?! I was scared. Terrified. My brothers and I sat on the dirt by a small water ditch near a farm. Where we were, there were tons of farms. U can't remember, but I'm pretty sure my mom was asking us a million questions. Then, she and the lady who caused us to crash talked for a moment in a panicked matter. I turned into big sister mode and didn't care if I was hurt, but I hoped my brothers were. I checked on them both, gave them a hug, and comforted them. I even started telling Kurt The Tale Of The Three Brothers. Then, Firemen, police, and ambulance came. They checked us for serious injuries, we had none, and talked to my mom. She told them that Kurt needed to get to urgent care because he had a kidney we call his special kidney, and it needed to be checked. She told them that my brothers had autism, and I was in the front seat. Many people asked me if I hit my head, I didn't, so I said no. After a while of panic, my uncle Jared came to pick us up. I was still in shock, and stayed so as we went home, and as we started our way to urgent care. In the car ride, every turn was terrifying because I was scared that we would crash again, so I read my book. Later we went into a doctors room. In there, I came out of shock, and into reality. Everything started to hurt. After we got examined by the doctor, he gave us X-rays. Then we went home. I still can't believe what happened. We have another doctor appointment tomorrow, I'll tell you how it goes.
