Today
I just felt like not talking anymore
It is a very hard choice
For i love to talk to everyone
But I have come to realize
That my mouth gets me into trouble
More times than not
So I believe that silence
Has to be better
I may no longer disagree
With what I should agree
And no longer agree
With what I should disagree
It is a win for everyone
Well everyone else
I no longer get to voice my opinion
Now to everyone
My presence is the same as an object
Like a chair
Or a table
Many days have come and gone
And I have realized
That I must talk
So others can know my opinions
Whether they approve or not
My opinion is my own
And no one can tell me
That it is wrong
Today
I have decided to talk
Because someday
My voice may make a difference
For someone who truly has none
Or someone not brave enough
To speak for themselves
It is much more heroic
To talk
Than to stay
Silent
