Regret Yet, Mate?

Chapter 1

         Sammantha p.o.v

"Knock knock, happy birthday babygirl!" My mom, Rose, came into my room holding a cupcake with a single candle on it. I sat up and smiled.

"Thanks mom." She handed me the cupcake and told me to make a wish. I made the same one I've been making since I could remember. That my mate would come save me from this hell on earth..

"Now go get ready and when you're done go wake Alex up." She kissed my forehead before she left. I sighed and got up taking a quick shower. I dried myself off before I put on a black tank top and midnight blue leggings along with my sunglasses. I ran to Alex's room and gently knocked.

"Mr. Alex it's time to get up and ready for school." I waited until I heard him shuffling around before I left and went back to my room.

I put my blue hair in a fishtail braid and put my purple one-shoulder crop top over my tank top. I grabbed the keys to my baby before running downstairs saying a quick goodbye to my mom.

My baby is my black motorcycle with a dark purple stripe down the length of it. I hopped on and put my helmet on driving to school. My mom saved up for a year to get me my baby. We are known as 'omegas' in the pack. The lowest of the low.

When I pulled up to school, my best friend, Kaylee, ran up to me and hugged me giving me a small box wrapped in pink.

"Happy birthday Sam!! I hope you like it." Kaylee always gives me presents. Ever since we were kids. I kept them all. Even if it was just a drawing. I opened it and gasped.

"Kaylee! I-its beautiful! Thank you!" I put the charm bracelet on and hugged her. We started walking to to our lockers just talking when I bumped into someone. I shrieked, closing my eyes and waited to land on the floor when I felt arms go around my waist and put me back on my feet. I giggled looking up. Me and Kaylee gasped when I saw someone I haven't seen in 2 years.

"J-Johnathan..? Is it really you?" Johnathan chuckled and hugged me while I was on the verge of tears.

"Yes, Sammy. Miss your big bro?" I tackled him and hugged him tightly. Johnathan went across the world looking for his mate. He's 20 years old. I got up when I heard my best friend whisper.

"Mate.." I looked at her only to see her and my brother staring at each other. I smiled real big and started jumping up and down in my spot squealing. They looked at me like I was crazy and I just smiled innocently.

*ring*

"Gotta go to class! Heard we have a new teacher!" I smiled and dragged Kaylee with me to class. We walked in and sat in our seats talking for a while before my brother walked in.

"Alright class. My name is Jonathan Black and I am your new teacher." He winks at Kaylee and she blushes while I giggle.

Fifteen minutes into class and I smell this amazing scent. My wolf, Snow, perks up and starts pacing in my mind.

Snow what's wrong? I asked worried.

Mate is here! With those three words I snapped my head up and looked around until I found these gorgeous Brown orbs. I was so lost in them that I didn't notice the owner of the orbs was right in front of me. I blushed and looked down. That's when he said what no mate wants to hear.

"I, Alex Summers, future Alpha of the Moonstone pack, reject, Sammantha Black, as my mate and future luna." He said with a smirk I looked up at him and smiled taking my glasses off revealing my purple eyes. I heard gasps from everyone in the room and stood up.

"I, Sammantha Black, accept your rejection." I smiled and walked away. When I got outside I ran home and packed all my necessities.
