I carried her to my room, and laid her down on my bed. She was all beat up and her clothes were ripped and wet from the rain. I got a bowl with warm water and a cloth to clean her cuts. Her eyes were closed, she looked beautiful despite that she was all beat up.

*Flashback*

It started to drizzle as I walked through the alleys and streets, I looked everywhere for her but i couldn't find her. I was hopeless. Then I heard someone crying and screaming coming from across the street. It started to get foggy as i crossed the street, the scream faded, I waited until I heard it again. I ran into the alley and saw her laying on the ground crying and I saw two girls standing there looking at me. I knew who they were and they knew me. I glared at them, then they ran off. I ran to her and picked her up, she was still crying in pain. She squirmed in my arms,"let me go!!" she cried.

"It's okay, it's me, Mako, you're safe now." I said as she stopped struggling.

"Mako..?"

"Are you okay?", I asked worriedly.

" I'm fine, I'm glad you're here.", she smiled.

"Sorry, I should've walked with you home", I apologized.

" It's okay," she said.

" This is all my fault , I started arguing with you".

" yeah, it was".

I smiled, wanting to laugh.

" Come on, let's go hom-ahhhhhhh...." she cried.

" What's wrong?!"

" I th..think my arm is bro..ken", she grunted as she held her arm. " everything hurts.."

"umm.. I'll take you to my house.. don't worry." I said.

"okay". she as she put one arm around my neck and the another one near her chest.

I ran as fast as I could to get to my house and tried not to hurt her. I love her but I never told her. We been friends since kindergarten, I met her when I saw her being picked on by this girl. She pushed Korra onto the floor, I felt bad for her ,especially that it was the first day of school.I helped her up her feet, I told that she can sit with me and my brother. I told her my name was Mako, and my brother's name was Bolin. She told  me her name was Korra. When we sat down at our table , my brother was talking to a friend of his, so he just waved at Korra. I was always in her classes after that, as best friends, we would always hang out. But then in the 5th grade I had to move. At first I thought i would never see her again. But I was wrong and I'm glad of it.

*Flashback Fades*

But seems like nothing can separate us.

I looked down at her and smiled, and we finally reached my house as the rain continued.
