"Picture this; You are driving at 180km per hour on an exclusive highway upon the Southern Ilses. There is no car in sight, the road is yours. In complete confidence you turn a curve which results in you toppling into your doom.

Life is the same, any event can occurs at any given moment.
One minute you are flying high up in the sky the next you are grovelling down in a ditch.

There is a saying, when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Sorry to burst your bubble but without sugar and water that will not be lemonade so allow me to rephrase;

When life gives you lemons you squeeze them right back into life's eyes. Life owes us nothing, more especially with its unpredictability. We should be able to adapt to anything life throws at us.
Thank you!"

A round of applause followed as I finished my oral and as if on cue the bell rang. I packed my books in my bag and as I got out I saw a grey Rolce Roys and inside was a man with a grey suit.

That was my cue. I put my bag in the boot and that's when I saw my suitcase. I sat in the passengers seat as quick as possible for I knew this man had no patience.

He was a proud Xhosa man who constantly kept his composure even in dire situations. He had a stern look on his face as he paged his phone, probably checking his schedule for the day, Typical businessman.

"Hey dad" I said he looked at me for a split second and greeted back. He asked questions about school on our way. I was going to spend the weekend with him at his house which looked more like a lodge.

We split into a comfortable silence. We were about to pass two cliffs which were on both sides of the road.The scenary was peaceful and pleasant.

Suddenly my father's phone rang and as he reached for it, the car spiraled out of control and crashed into one of the cliffs which caused the rocks to fall. Blocked by airbags and the locked doors we were crushed to our deaths.

Life is like a game, you roll the dice but you never know the outcome. It can change in a flash, blink and you will miss it. Today I wonder, a spirit walking in an empty space filled with nothingness.

Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed the chapter and believe it or not it was actually my school essay, which explains why it's so short. I'm going to be writing more of them.

Each one will have different characters and events. They will also be under 500 so if you like short chapters this is the place to be.

This is my first one shot book funny because I don't even read one shots but I'm writing one. Anyway thanks for reading, make sure to leave a like it really helps me out, comment and share.

Until next shot;) see ya!
