Ok so heres my first oneshot for this book. Im not gonna lie it was hard trying to write this from a childs perspective but I think I did ok. Although you guys are the judge of that so leave a comment and tell me how I did. I pulled an all nighter doing this so if there is any spelling or gramar mistakes just let me know and I will change them when I wake up (whenever that might be....) This story was requested by DannyYager and the next story will be Benny X Mreader which was requested by mastaplasta563.

Y/n and his parents moved into their new home not long ago and at first everything was normal until one night Y/n woke up needing to go to the toilet when he heard the faint sound of a girl crying downstairs. Curious about who was crying Y/n quietly made his way downstairs. When he got to the bottom he noticed a little girl curled up by the kitchen door holding a stuffed bear sniffling. As he approached her she looked up at him which is when he noticed that her face was covered in something red but he didn't know what it was. "Who are you?" Y/n asked as she sniffed and wiped her nose. "*Sniff*S-Sally. What's your name?" she replied. "My name's Y/n" He responded as he got a bit closer to the mysterious girl. "Where's your parents?" He asked. "*Sniff*I don't know I can't find them." she replied looking even more saddened by the question. Y/n felt really sorry for the girl so he went into the kitchen and grabbed some tissues. Once he had a handful he went back to the girl and handed them to her as he sat next to her. "How old are you?" he asked "I'm 9" she replied as she wiped her face with the tissues. "Really? I'm 9 too. Hey do you want to be friends?" He wasn't sure why but knowing she was the same age made Y/n really happy but nearly as happy as she was. Her emerald green eyes lit up at the question as she quickly nodded with a big smile. "Can we play a game" she suddenly asked. "Ok but we need to be quiet my parents are sleeping, I don't want to get in trouble." Y/n replied slightly worried. "Yay" she cheered before continuing "how about a game of hide and seek?" she asked her face brimming with excitement. "Ok I'll seek first. But my parents room is out of bounds." he stated hoping she would understand why. "Ok, count to 10 while I go hide" she said excitedly.

Y/n counted to 10 and began to quietly search the house. He checked everywhere he could think of but couldn't find her no matter where he looked. "Where is she hiding?" He wondered but then Y/n suddenly heard a giggle coming from his room. "Huh? I thought I checked my room?" He thought as he slowly crept inside and scanned the room for any sign of her but still nothing. Then he heard another giggle come from downstairs "How did she get down there so fast?" he thought as he quietly made his way past his parent's room and back downstairs carefully placing each step so as to stop the floor boards creaking. When Y/n reached the bottom he made his way into the kitchen and saw the closet was slightly open. Y/N smiled thinking he had finally found her and snuck up to the door. "Boo" he whisper-shouted as he swung the door open but she wasn't inside. "Boo!" Y/n jumped barely stifling his scream from the surprise and turned to see Sally uncontrollably giggling at his reaction. "Hey that's not fair, how did you get behind me?" Y/n pouted. "It's a secret" she replied smiling. "*Yawn* I'm tired... this was fun but I need to go back to bed now" Y/n said rubbing his eyes. "Ok I had fun too! Can we play again tomorrow? She asked with a big smile. "Ok but where will you be?" he asked. "Don't worry I'll come find you." She said happily. Y/n found that a bit strange but was too tired to think about it. "Alright, goodnight Sally." He said as he went back to bed. "Good night Y/n!" she replied happily.

For the next week y/n and sally met up and played with each other every day but Y/n found it strange that she never showed up when his parents were around. She only came out to play when they were either asleep or out. But over that week Y/n and sally became very close as they played all kind of different games together. But tonight things turned out very different for the two of them.

Y/n could feel someone shaking him and woke him up. As Y/n opened his eyes he saw Sally happily smiling at him, her face filled with excitement. "Hi Y/n can we play?" she asked. Y/n looked at the time and saw it was 1am. "Ok but we need to be quiet my parents might still be awake." he warned. "Yay" she cheered. "What do you want to play?" he asked "Can we play hide and seek again?" She replied. "Ok I'll seek again, but no cheating this time" "Ok" she happily replied. "Alright go hide I'm going to start counting." Y/n said and she skipped out of the room as he started. But Y/n only made it as far as 5 when he heard a scream from his parent's room. Fearing the worst he bolted out of his room and into theirs. As Y/n ran in he saw Sally on the floor frightened while his parents backed away next to the door until they noticed Y/n stood there.

"Y/n come here!" His mother demanded as she grabbed his arm and pulled him close. "How did you get in here?" His father cautiously asked. But Sally didn't reply, she was too startled to do so. "Where are you parents?" Y/ns mother shouted as she held him away from the random girl. But again she didn't reply too scared to say a word. Y/n didn't like seeing his new friend being bullied by his parents so he broke away from his mother, pushed past his father aside and stood in front of Sally. "Leave Sally alone!" He shouted. "Sally!?" they both gasped and looked at each other. "Y/n come here now! She's dangerous." His mother yelled. "No she's not she's my friend! Stop being so mean to her!" Y/n shouted back with tears in his eyes. Y/ns parents both looked at each other confused and distraught by his actions until his father spoke up as he crouched down in front of them. "Y/n please you need to understand that she isn't normal." Y/ns father warned. "What do you mean?" Y/n asked confused. "We heard about stories of her when we moved here. She's...." Y/ns mother added but was unsure how to finish. "A ghost" his father finished for her. "Then why can I see her and touch her" Y/n questioned. "We don't know but she's dangerous Y/n so come here..." His father warned as he reached out his hand. Y/n looked at his hand and back to Sally, her eyes filled with tears. "No, she's my friend. I don't care if she's a ghost so stop being so mean!" He shouted. "Has she not done anything to hurt you?" His mother asked concerned. "No we just play with each other, I swear!" he promised hoping to change his parents mind about her. They both calmed down a bit after seeing how adamant

Y/n was about protecting her and they began to feel bad being so horrible to such a defenceless girl. "Alright Y/n we won't be so mean so can we talk to Sally please?" Y/ns mother calmly asked which made Y/ns determined expression soften before he moved out of the way and turned to sally. "Sally when was the last time you saw your parents?" his mother asked. "*Sniff* I-I can't remember." She sobbed. "Then where do you sleep?" His mother asked again but this time she just shrugged her shoulders as she rubbed the tears from her eyes. "Can she stay with us?" Y/n asked as he grabbed her hand catching his parents by surprise. They both looked at each other for a moment almost as though they were talking without words before turning back to Y/n and Sally. "She means a lot to you doesn't she?" his father asked and Y/n nodded his head in response. "*Sigh* Well it's not like she wasn't already living here, so Sally..." He said getting her attention. "Welcome to the family." His father said with a soft smile. Sally's eyes grew wide as she looked at Y/n, who gave her a big smile, then back to his parents before she broke down into tears. Her cries brought Y/ns mother to tears as Sally's tears weren't filled with sadness but joy. Sally had finally found people she could call a family again.
