"YESSSS!!" Conner called out as Dennis scored another point in Badminton. They loved to be on a team together in all gym activities. The two boys where both almost done wit sophomore year. Conner was a short but strong guy with white skin and thin brown hair. He had a few freckles, hazel eyes and a crooked but cute smile. Dennis was a little taller then Conner. He had short woolly brown hair and very dark skin. The two boys had been friends for most of their lives. They did everything together. For their whole lives they only thought of each other as brother. Nothing more and nothing less.

"Dude! That was sick!" Conner called out to Dennis as he gave him a high five. "I know right!? I good at this game!" Dennis bragged. Conner liked that he was so confident all the time. Made him seem so strong. "The class is about to end, want to face me really quick?" Conner teased. Dennis laughed dramatically. "Fine! Come at me shorty!" Dennis teased back. Conner hated being reminded of being shorter then his friend, but he didn't mind this time. They hit the birdy back and forth for a while, neither boy scoring a point because of being equally good at the game. "You got nothin on this white boy!" Dennis yelled as he spiked the birdy. Thinking he scored a point Conner dove for the birdy and hit it back over the net. Dennis was so unprepared, that he didn't even try to hit it back. He just stood there in awe. "Hows that for a white boy?" Conner chucked as he dramatically swayed his hips as he walked past. Dennis bursted out laughing at how ridiculous Conner looked. They both put their rackets away and proceeded to the locker room to change.

When they got to their gym lockers, Dennis was thinking about Conner. "That was a pretty cool short he made. I probably wouldn't have been able to make that shot to be honest. He's really damn fast though!" As Dennis thought to himself, he took off his shirt to change. Conner did the same and took his shirt off. When he took his shirt off, Dennis's eyes shot over to his friend. He couldn't take is eyes off of his chest and abs. "Wow, he's really toned!" Dennis thought to himself. "Wait, I've seen him without a shirt on before. This isn't our first gym class together." Conner noticed Dennis staring at him. "D-do I have something on me?" Conner asked in a concerned voice. Dennis blinked and shock his head a little, "Oh! Uh...n-no. I was just...zoned out." Dennis blushed. Conner thought nothing of it. "Oh, alright dude." He shrugged and he put on his shirt. They both proceeded out of gym and stopped where their friends hangout between classes. As they approched the spot, they noticed a tall girl sitting on the ledge of the stairs. She had short black hair and big glasses to hide her face. She wore a big sweater and black pants. "Yo Kat!" Dennis called out. The girl looked up from her phone and smiled. She hopped off of the ledge and gave both boys a hug.

Kat was taller then both boys. She always stood kind of awkward and either held her hands together or had them in her pockets. "Hey you two! Sorry i wasn't in gym today, I had to go to the office again." She groaned. "That whole new school thing again"" Conner asked. "Yup." She pouted. "But don't worry! I'll still be working at caribou and hanging out there, so I'll still see you guys every day!" She smiled. A few more friends passed by and waved. Kat looked at the time and hopped up. "Sorry guys but i got to get to class. See you at Caribou!" As she ran off to her class, Conner and Dennis walked to theirs. As they walked and Dennis talked, Conner was thinking about how Dennis was looking at him in the locker room. "What was that all about? Was he starring at my chest? N-no, no way! He has made it very clean that he's not gay. I'm not gay either. But that look was so lustful. Wait...Wait...WAIT...What am I thinking. He isn't gay or bi or anything!" After Conner finished his thoughts, he decided to drop it. "So you going to Caribou after school?" Dennis asked. Conner didn't answer. "Hey." Dennis nudged him in the shoulder a little. Conner blinked rapidly. "Huh-What?" Dennis laughed, "I said, you going to Caribou today?" "Oh, ya, ya." Conner replied.

"You okay? You seem out of it today." Dennis asked as they walked into their history class. " Ya I'm good. I just have a weird feeling." Dennis was confused, "What kind of feeling?" He asked as they sat down. "I feel like...one of my friends might be...changing...And I think I am too." Dennis still didn't get it. "Who-" he was cut off when the teacher started the class. About ten minutes into the class Dennis was thinking about the locker room. Seeing Conner without a shirt and changing right in front of him. "Why am I thinking about him so much? He's changed infront of me before with no problem. He's just looks so nice- wow! Wow! Wow! What the hell am I thinking!? I'm not gay! He's not gay! I mean...what if he...No no I need to stop thinking like this." While Dennis sat in his desk thinking, Conner noticed that he was clenching his fists. He was so tensed that the vains in his arms were showing. Conner blushed a little at the site of his friends strong flexed arms. He quickly looked away with a red face. "What the hell? I feel flushed, and embarrassed! Do I...Do I have a crush on...NO NO NO! I'm not gay! A-am I?" Conner thought to himself. Both boys we so into each other but didn't know.

"Ok, I'm just going to stop thinking about that. I'll...I'll text him! I'll just ask him why he's so tensed." He quickly pulled out his phone and sent him a text.

Conner: Yo, you good? You look upset about something."

Dennis felt his phone buzz in his pocket and took it out. Seeing that it was the person that he's thinking about made him even more uncomfortable.

Dennis: Ya I've just been thinking. Some stupid stuff happened today.

Conner: What happened?

Dennis: I just feel like...I don't know myself anymore.

Conner: How so?

Dennis: Well, have you ever questioned yourself? On something you thought you knew but not you're not sure?

Before replying, Conner thought for a second. "Is that what this is all about? When he looked at me in the locker room, that wasn't just starring out into space that was...different. Is he...actually gay?"

Conner: I guess I understand. Kind of.

Dennis: Ya I just can't talk about it right now.

Conner: alight dude, I'm here if you need :)

Dennis smiled at how loyal Conner is.

Dennis: Thanks man :)

When the bell rang, both boys stood to pack their things. Dennis looked up from him bag a little and looked at Conner. His head was bouncing to the beat of what ever music he was listening to. As he mouthed the words to his song he smiled. He then glanced at Dennis and locked eyes with him. They stared for a minute, until Dennis turned red. He quickly threw his bag over his shoulder and left the room, not saying anything to Conner. "What was his problem?" A voiced asked from behind him. Conner turned to see his friend Johnny. Johnny was a tall, blond, and rather quiet person. "I have no idea." Conner answered. As dennis walked down the hall, he couldn't stop thinking about Conner. "I;m not GAY!! Why am I being like this!? Have i always been this way? Whatever, I need to eat something. I can't think straight...literally."
