I originally wrote The End of the Light in the Tunnel for an early version of Tap, Wattpad's text-style app for short-short stories. The style of the stories on Tap changed as the app's finer details ironed out, which meant The End of the Light in the Tunnel didn't quite fit in anymore.
I decided to post the story on Wattpad instead, because it's since become one of my favorites. That's saying something, as I usually look at anything I've written recently the same way I do cat barf on a Jell-o mold.
