Cool Kids

I saw them walking in a straight line. I could instantly tell they were the cool kids. One girl tall, lanky, and jet black hair stepped out of her fire red Porsche. She was wearing in my opinion WAY to much makeup. Her foundation was 3 shades darker than her skin. I wanted to either wipe her foundation off or blend it in properly. Her eye shadow was bright green and her dress was neon yellow. Not only that but it was WAY to short. Her neon yellow heels had to be at least 10 inches. AT LEAST!

The only way to identify they were cool was by seeing how people parted like the Red Sea

The only way to identify they were cool was by seeing how people parted like the Red Sea. I suddenly notice they were walking towards me. I started to panic. Why are they coming my way? "Hey new kid, I like your outfit. It's hella cute." 2 tone said. "Thanks" I replied unsure weather it was a compliment or a diss. Nothing was special about it. I was wearing a black and white crop top, a shorts version of overalls, a pink flower crown, my black lace choker, and my black All Starts with white laces. My hair was naturally wavy so I didn't need to curl it. My make was light. Just black mascara, black eyeliner, and matte pink lipstick.

"You have a beautiful face. Like you totally need to hang with us." 2 tone said in a really cliche white girl voice. "Oh um I would love to. I don't have much friends..." I started but then got interrupted by a knock off London Tipton. "We don't care and Vanessa wasn't asking. She was telling you."

Then 2 tone (aka Vanessa) shook her head happily

Then 2 tone (aka Vanessa) shook her head happily. "Thank you Brenda. I thought i had to dunb it down for her." They laughed and that was the end of the conversation. Every time I opened my mouth knock off Tipton would say something rude. So on my first day I was forced into a click that I didn't want any part of and made 2 new "friends".  I remember all through freshman year I wanted to like the cool kids but now I wish I could be the normal kid in the background again.
