The Problem With Undergarments

The day was cold and dreary. The sun had been hidden by a mass of thick grey clouds, it looked as though it were about to snow. I walked briskly down the crowded Washington D.C. street. Keeping my head down looking only at the ground and not at the faces of the people around me. I felt the knife in my garter slip ever so slightly down my leg as I turned and hurried down a narrow alley way only glancing up to make sure I was not being followed.

The trick to hiding weapons in one's undergarments is an ability usually picked up by only women. Of course they do have more undergarments so I suppose it is slightly easier. However, the trade mark of a true master is keeping the weapons from making noise, and keeping them from falling down. At this moment in time I was having a bit of trouble with the later. The knife I had safely hidden in my garter was slowly slipping down my leg and getting dangerously close impaling my thigh.

Well, an empty alley is better than a crowded one, I thought as I bent over to try to correct the mess under my skirts. However, before I could do anything, I heard footsteps approaching behind me. They were not heavy man steps, but light barely audible footsteps, the steps of a killer, a trained killer, a trained killer in heels. Quickly I pulled a small knife out of my tightly laced corset, and got into the best fighting position I could muster while simultaneously making it appear as though I was simply hunched over fixing something. The woman approached and I braced myself, ready for the attack.

"Are you alright?" Asked the woman behind me.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you," I replied slowly straitening up, "I just had a small wardrobe malfunction, you understand." I was still gripping the knife tightly in my right hand, just to be safe. I pretend to straighten my skirts and turned to face her, hiding the knife in the folds of my dress. Her skin was soft and smooth, she looked as though she had been kissed by the sun. She was wrapped in a beautifully made dark blue dress which hugged her curves perfectly, it was obvious it had been made for exactly her by expert craftsmen. She had dark brown hair which was loose around her face. It fell in front of her striking green eyes giving her a slightly mysterious air about her. She was more beautiful than anything I had seen before.

A sharp pain spread through my thigh, pulling my eyes away from her beautiful face. I glanced down warm blood had begun to slowly stream down my leg and into my boot. Flustered I looked around for an escape, finding nothing I turned to face her, "Thank you for your concern," I mutterd trying desperately to step around her, but the movement only lodged the knife deeper into my leg and I flinched as pain shot through my leg. Blood was pooling on the ground and it was all I could do to keep myself from allowing myself to regenerate, but I could not let her see.

"Are you sure?" She asked, real concern in her voice. I held my breath and nodded forcing my face into a smile.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" I turned, and briskly walked away and barely managed to turn the corner before I collapsed . I took in three deep breaths, and said the words my mother had taught me. "Alimentacion deuses centeo sara a mina euwels eta zaurik i dute. " Bright gold beams swept around me wrapping around my leg and removing any trace that a few seconds ago, I had been bleeding to death. Once I finished, I stood, brushed myself off, and walked back into the crowded square. Gingerly I looked for the woman I had met in the alley. I scanned the crowd but only saw her dark blue dress bobbing away from me through the crowded square.

I thought that would be the last time I saw her.
