Bacon sandwiches always reminded her of sitting in a dingy diner at the edge of a highway watching the trucks drive by. As she sat at a table for two with a pristine white silk table cloth overtop she longed for a simple bacon sandwich at the edge of a highway.

She didn't want to be sitting in the middle of a five star restaurant across from a man in a personally tailor suit sipping some overly expensive bitter tasting red wine. She couldn't believe how she had grown up to be such a person that would even sit in such a restaurant. She remembered walking past them when she was a teen, they always smelled amazing but she never dreamt of wanting to eat there. She had been happy with the corner Chinese store where the family in the back would always be yelling at each other.

It was like the past six years of her life has passed her by without her being aware. Someone how she had graduated university with some kind of degree, got a well paying job, met a guy and now lived in a penthouse apartment looking down on the city. None of it meant anything to her thought. She didn't even really know the guy sitting opposite her smiling. He didn't really know her either, she didn't really know herself. How the hell did she get to be sitting in an empty five star restaurant opposite such a handsome, obviously rich man?

She had to get out, get away. The restaurant was empty, they were alone. Luckily dinner was just being served. The bathroom normally had an escape route. She excused herself, grabbing her clutch purse naturally, girls always took their purses to the bathroom, the lipstick was inside so it didn't look unusual. She leisurely walked to the bathroom keeping her eye out for an escape. As she opened the door to the hall she caught a glance through another closing door which had a door to the outside propped open.

It was through the pantry which also had a door to the kitchen. She held the first door slightly agar so she could see through. Someone was just leaving the pantry, she took that opportunity to dart behind him and out the open door. Cold air hit her face suddenly, then the smell of trash from the garbage bins around her. She didn't care she was out. She walked around the other side of the bin and crouched down so she could investigate her purse in private.

There was a set of keys and cards inside. She would have thought he would have the keys, men always liked to drive. She held the keys in her hand and tried to remember where they had parked. Three blocks over to her left, luckily she didn't have to walk in front of the restaurant. Unluckily she had left her coat inside and she was cold in the thin red dress she was wearing. The walk would warm her up. She got up and started walking.

It wasn't too late out. It was the beginning of winter so the sun was going down earlier. Three blocks wasn't that far. When she got to the car she was impressed. Sleek and sporty, she had no idea what it was but it looked fast. She slid into the driver's seat and out of curiosity she checked the registration of the car, it was hers. She didn't recall ever having enough money to own a car like the one she was sitting in. Not too long ago she wouldn't even have been able to touch it without someone yelling at her.

She turned on the car to a purr. A screen on the dash board also lit up, gps came up. She scrolled through her recent places and came to a "home" option, she keyed it in and started driving. She ended up in a factory like district, not the penthouse apartment that was in her head. A garage door slid opened as she approached, she figures the car and door had some kind of sensor so she drove in, the door closed behind her.

When she got out the garage lit up revealing a staircase leading up to a door. She slid off her heals and walked to the top. Holding her keys in her hand she noticed two other keys next to her car keys, the first one didn't work on the door but the second did. When the door swung open she knew this was her place. The dark reds and bright yellow splashed were her favourite colour combination. Rugs covered the floor, overlapping each other, all as vibrant as the next. Everything looked so warm and inviting.

She shut the door behind her and marvelled at the place she didn't remember being hers. Just as the door shut a man came walking out from one of the rooms with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Hey honey, over already?" this man was even more handsome than the one at the restaurant. He was broad and had ripping muscles all over, it helped he was only wearing a towel. She just stood there and stared at him.

"You okay?" he walked over to her slowly and then cupped her cheek

"Are you having a moment again?" he was so gentle and soft, like he actually cared about her.

"Um... yeah, a moment." She didn't really know how to explain it.

"Do we need to go through the exercise?" he slowly walked her over to the couch and sat her down. She just nodded her head wondering if this wasn't the first time this had happened.

"Okay I'll be right back," he quickly got up and went to the room he came out of.

When he got back he was wearing clothes and held flash cards in his hand.

"Let's start off with something simple, what's your name?" the card had 'name' on the front and her name on the back. She sat and concentrated for a second

"Anthea Hel" but there were other names that were coming to her

"Daisy Sorb" she said out loud, it was such a sweet name, a name that sung to her.

"Anthea Hel, that's your name" the way he said 'your' and looked at her made her shake internally, it held such power she didn't question it again.

"How old are you?" he asked his next questions. So many number flew around her brain but one statement stood out from the rest

"Too old" he nodded and smiled, she felt like she had done this many times with him.

"What do you do?" it was such an odd question in her head, it wasn't quite 'what's your job' or 'what do you do for fun', it was an all encompassing question.

"I take lives" she was started to feel more like herself, no more memories of highway diner and bacon sandwiches. She was powerful and greedy, after money and destruction not Chinese takeaways.

"Good, I see you're coming back." She was, she could feel her spine straighten, she rolled her head getting the kinks out of her neck.

"I left him at the restaurant, didn't even get to the proposal before she woke up, she's getting stronger, I probably would have liked her if she had been this strong then" Anthea stood up and walked to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of golden alcohol and a glass. As she poured herself a glass the man came up behind her and wrapped her waist.

"I'm sure he'll come running back to you and you'll get your chance to break his heart, he's so spineless but rich." The man licked her neck making her shiver in delight.

"We can make it look like she was kidnapped rather than ran out on him, he'll love coming to the rescue" she swigged her drink, the alcohol burning deliciously down her throat.

"You're amazing" he spun her around and captured her mouth.

They were destructive and devious, a match made in hell.
